Tears of an Angel

by demib

Tears of an Angel
My cold body swings,
From the tree that bears the noose.

The noose,
That is wrapped around my neck.

Dead flowers swarming,
Dropping down.

Turning from once beautiful colors,
To grey and black.

Tears of an angel,
Fall from her face,
Dropping onto my body and the ground.

Colors flash from the tears,
But the colors disappear,
When cold hate,
Turns them grey.

The angels carry me away,
Burying me at a happy place.

That in time,
Turns cold and dark.

My friends mourn at my grave,
But they don't know I try to comfort them.

All they feel is cold sadness.

The tears of an Angel,
Are never good signs.

The tears of an Angel,
Have not yet shown a sign to stop.

My Angel,
Is still crying its tears,
But i know,
That life will never come back into me.

So my angel keeps crying,
Trying to hope for life.

But life has gone,
Left me behind.

My angel,
Its no use.

Stop crying,
Its no use to save something that isnt there.

Wow! This was very beautiful. Despite the sadness of the poem, I think you painted a very clear picture. It's like sad, yet assuring at the same time. Very good job. Keep it up

This is a beautiful poem. I loved it. I just found that it was a bit hard to read with all commas and no fullstops. Also, separating it into stanzas also helps.
Keep Writing! :)

Such a sad poem, such emotion. This could almost be a song if you rearranged it differently. One thing that would make it easier to read is if you could put it in stanzas but otherwise beautiful.

Thank you. I have one poem that is rather long that was made as a song rather than a poem.

If you get to read this comment, take note please. If you loved or liked "Tears of an Angel" i would also like you to find the poem "The Funeral" for it is much like this one. Thank you!
