Roses

Roses,
Oh roses,
How beautiful you are,
With your red petals,
And prickly stems,
You are so beautiful,
And we pick you so,
Your petals turn dry,
As we start to die,
Putting you on the graves,
Of are ghostly loved ones,
Roses,
Oh roses,
You are what makes us die.

Hey :) Just wanted to point out:
Putting you on the graves,
Of are ghostly loved ones, - should be "our" loved ones.

Beautiful poem. I love the ending especially. The theme is so haunting its like standing in a graveyard, reading this. Thank you, keep writing.

You are going to love some of your characters because they are you, or some facet of you, and you are going to hate some characters for the same reason.
