Going Through The Pain
I'm going through the pain,
And as I am walking away,
Tears of sorrow fill my eyes,
Cuts and burns,
Will sting and bleed,
But loving you when youre gone,
Hurts worse,
When you let go of love,
You have to wait,
To see if it comes back to you,
Saying,
I'm yours,
But while I wait,
It never came back,
It never really was mine,
Now,
If you don't understand my silence,
How can you understand my words?
For a single moment,
I want to feel loved,
Free from the sky's weight,
I want to feel,
Like youre not scarring my heart,
Tearing it to pieces,
I would give anything,
I would give you my life,
To say to you,
I love you, Mommy,
And for you to say,
I love you too,
While i'm still going through the pain.

Never forget how special this site is: the older I get, the more I realize how many lonely writers there are who have only family and maybe some friends to read their works. The fact we get free critique, nightly writing pads, free contests and unlimited interaction at *no cost* with people genuinely wanting to help, can not be overstated or overrated
