Nature does not care for human minds.
Trees will sprout regardless of our eyes.
Winds will rock the grasses of the plains.
Clouds will roll and lightning flash the skies.

Men do not leave markings on the Earth—
Markings that she cannot heal, at least—
this gray smoke can only kill ourselves.
Earth will hide away for later feast.

On the dark day of our reddened dawn,
One last strug’ling soul will draw a breath.
Its release will bring eternal doom,
Yet the Earth will still avoid her death.

Do not fear for dear old Mother Earth.
E're she’ll surely blossom with new birth.

Heyy!! *clicks like button before any reviewing can begin*

So, I really love the title! At first, I could not figure out what it meant....and then I got it! It is Earth! And this poem is about nature! I got that after the first line, actually.

Anyway, I do not see any grammatical or spelling errors. So, that's good...Great, actually! It's awesome that you can write this well and at such a high level! I know I can't but, reading works of authors such as you really inspire me to write more - especially when my emotions are at it's fullest!!

P.s. I truly think that your work is some of the VERY best of anyone's on this site and if you any need any support and such, just know, I am and will always be here for you!

Thanks!
Great job!!
Keep writing!!,
~Tiff

This is absolutely wonderful.
It's beautifully crafted and well structured. Your word choice displays eloquence and flair.
The message itself is both refreshing and much truer than many believe. You've done a splendid job. In all honesty, I really can't see anything to fault you on. You’re a superb poet.

Hey there Fortis,
I must say that I really like this piece and I also liked how you put a comma at the end of each line. Although since this is a slightly modern Shakespearean and I thought that it should of had words from his era in this piece but hey that's just me and I highly doubt that anyone would feel the same way.Well I'm rambling and I need to stop haha anyways I just really like this piece and i like the story behind it. So over all you did a great job and keep writing! Stay awesome!
