In Poetry

Im not the best at poetry but rip it apart :)

It pulses through my blood
Quick and slow
Thick and thin
It takes whatever shape it pleases

There’s never a warning
Always sudden
My breath quickens,
My body’s shaken

Like a disease
It racks my body
Until all that I have
Is all that I become

Nothing more, and
Nothing less
It leaves me
Hollowed and battered

There is nothing left
My body trembles
My mind is jumbled
My soul, broken

For someone who does not know much about poem I will say you tried. the way you used your words brief and bright. when writing a poem you have to set your feelings straight so atleast you can understand what you are writing about because only then will you be able pass your feelings properly to the audience. Also your poem lacks alot of puntuations you will have to wprk on that in your next writing. and by the way this is better than your other poem i read.

Yeah, that sort of is the way it comes across. At least that is sort of what I got out of it.

Thanks, yeah I just had this feeling for a poem and I worte it down... so I myself am not sure about the true meaning, but i do have to say it's mostly about having such deep emotion that it breaks your soul... I dont know if it comes out that way or not though.

Poetry may not be your forte, but this one is great. I don't really understand what it's about but I like it hahah. It gives just the right amount of description. It isn't bare but it still leaves some room for the reader's imagination. It isn't full of emotion, but it is full of feeling (that doesn't really make much sense :P but I really don't know how to explain it.) Anyways, it's good, keep writing.

Most things happen for a reason. Though, usually, the forces that be are immature enough that the reason is comedy.
