Hi Karzkin,

I have a few questions...

Why so many different lines?
Why so many likes?
Why don't i understand what this even means?
Why have speech marks at the beginning and end of a poem?

These are many of the questions of mine that will never be answered...

P.S. Is 'Increment' the oppisite to Excrement? Because if that IS what you're aiming for here it's a little weird.

Oh jeez, I love this. It's open-ended and self-applying. Don't change a bit of it. It's the mystery of its meaning that makes it so memorable.

Really neat quote. It doesn't stand on it's own very well though ... don't you think it would be better in a story? :)

Definitely not. Nothing else needs to be said.

Oh okay. I understand :) I just thought it could be really great and profound if someone said it in a story.

I agree with Safer.

You are wrong. This is better.

Are you for real? I'm not seeing it, man.

I'm not sure I understand what is going on in this poem, the clarinet reference almost demeans what I think you are trying to get across about the breath.

Why is this so popular? Seriously, it sucks. The one I wrote the other day is much better, y'all should go check that one out instead.

It's because this piece captures the essential essence of Karzkin. And because it features a clarinet as a symbol of life.

I love it, don't change a word.

Well i liked it, but I'm not entirely sure I got it. It's in quotation marks so is someone speaking this? You should add more to it, it has a lot of great potential, but I honestly don't think a lot of people will get it. Because it has meaning, and I'm sure it's meaningful to you. Show that to other people.

Karzkin replied · Nov 6, 2012

It is indeed speech, in fact it's something Bennie Maupin (google him) said to me two weeks ago. I don't think it needs any more. All the pieces are there, but if I straight-up gave away the answer what's the point?
