I'm not a murderer...

In Pieces of Poetry

I'm not a murderer...

I’m not a killer;
I’m just a man with a knife
I’m not a murderer;
I’m just taking your life.

I’m not a hunter;
I’m just a man with a gun.
I’m not crazy;
I just kill you for fun.

I’m not a serial killer;
I’m just a man who kills a lot.
I’m not a psychopath,
I was just a kid who someone forgot.

I grew up emotionless
and I confess
I do not know happiness
love I can’t express
can’t feel
I’m surreal.

But nonetheless
I'm alive even though I’m a mess

And I’m coming for you
With my empty heart
Numb soul and sharpened knife
To take that happy life,
that could’ve been mine.

Wow this poem was interesting, creative, and sad all at the same time!

I love how you really got into the theme and tried to explain whats going through their heads. It was new, fresh, original, and defiantly creative! I have never seen a poem so well written and unique!

Well done! Keep it up!

This is far too repetitive. Lose the list and the I do this, I feel this. I am this. It's too repetitive. Your last stanza is better, as it has more flow and better presentation.

Wow. This is surprisingly sad and scary at the same time for me. I just noticed one thing on the line "But nonetheless". It seems a little redundant because those two words can mean the same thing, but if you like it, then great! Keep writing! I loved it.
