gaze into infinity,
love your existence.

Hi Buzz here to review, will probably be a short review though as its a haiku.
.
I liked this poem in general it had a nostalgic and peaceful mood and atmosphere to it and was simply to understand. So I just have a few suggestions that may be helpful to you.
I especially like that half my username is in it
Anyways, I don't know a lot about haikus buy they're usually very powerful, therefore only needing a few lines to express themselves. I like the idea of this though I think something's missing perhaps its the word choice and feeling of it being unfinished.
"look at the night sky"
Opening is fine but it would be interestong to describe the night sky as something else metaphorically.
"gaze into infinity"
And beyond would sound good added here lol okay jokes aside. I think if you went into a bit of depth of what the infinity you were gazing into was would be great. Or simply gazing into something more powerful than an infinity which is overused at times.
"Love your existence"
I liked this ending but it seemed a bit disconnected in my opinion. Maybe link it to the previous line.
Hope I helped.

Woah excuse my typos in this review :L
Its a very powerful haiku. but like tgirly said, it does seem a little incomplete. You have an amazing idea going on but the statements in the haiku are lacking some sort of a connection i feel. But find that connection and you're golden! I do really like the premise though. Its very difficult to convey an entire idea in only seventeen syllables but you did a pretty nice job of it. I look forward to reading much more of your work! Keep at it!

It's small, it's simple, it's deep, as haikus should be, but, maybe it's just me, but it doesn't feel complete.
I would also consider making each line its own sentence if I were you, a minute detail, but worth considering.
With such a short poem, you really need each word of the poem to pull its own weight, and I'm not sure 'look' is the most descriptive word you could use; gaze is far more descriptive and interesting but look just doesn't really do it for me. Perhaps move 'gaze' up a line and then have something else for 'into infinity', maybe something less passive than just observing it like 'step into infinity'? I don't know; what I'm trying to say is with such a tiny poem you really have to take time and weigh the weight of every single word you use, which you do really well for the most part.
I hope this review helped and I hope you have a Merry Review Day and a Happy New Year!

I love it!
The first haiku i meet on YWS and its good.first let me piont out that, although its a lovely poem, its quite uneventful.I couldn't see something happening,i think it would have been great as a limerick or even a quatrain.Very enchanting i'd say;looking up in the sky, seeing its vast, never ending universe, and yes,i also got distorted in line to...
"gaze into infinity" the word infinity didn't quite fit in my head at first, may someting like "gaze into it's vastness", 'its' as in for the sky,so the sky should be vast not infinite-Just saying. My existence is as the sky, true. But something should have depict my existence,i can't tell if the sky is empty or abundant with stars(i love watching stars),if there are stars then i would inevitably love my existence,u should see how it fits into your haiku.Almost Perfect!
Thank you TegaEdais!
I really did like this haiku. I thought it was lovely. You'd be surprised (because this is such a short poem) but I do have a few nit picks. First, try putting a period after sky. Then Capitalize the "g" in "gaze". The other thing I want to say is that this haiku sounds like a saying. Kinda like "Live Laugh Love". Kinda like that. I would suggest changing one of the lines so that it describes something happening. Like perhaps instead of looking at the night sky you could say "Skies are forever" Or "The sky goes on". Idk. That's just something I'm throwing out. Other than that, I thought this was a lovely little haiku. One more thing, have you considered doing a collection of haikus? That might make it easier for people to review. So maybe doing 3 or 4 haikus with the basic idea of infinity. Just an idea.

Again, loving the haiku.
Aw, thank you!
I'm really glad you liked it. Yes, I must try to add on more.. Thanks for the review, it's really helped!
