I imagine
wrapping it with sellotape
tying it with string,
fixing it with glue
and stitching it with thread.
But my heart
insists
on breaking.

Hey there! Sushi here to review your poem!
I have to say this is one of those moments when simplicity is the best, it really emphasized the point of the poem! I especially like the riddle like nature to the poem and the final 3 lines!
Just a few tiny nitpicks:
1)You need capitals on the first letter of every line not just a few.
2)I think the last 3 lines could be made more powerful with commas at the end of the lines.
That's it! I loved this poem and it is very deserving of the spotlight!
See ya!
Hey there and thanks for the review! I put the capitals there as they're after full stops... I don't know why but I just like how poems look like that
Thanks again!
I knew before I even got to the heart part that this was what this piece was going to be about!
Even the title: Fragile, gave a hint.
All the different ways you mention of repairing the heart, or trying to stop it from breaking are quite typical. I would have been more intrigued to see something more original that made the reader think.
Obviously, you have decided upon heartbreak from the very first and by the time we get to the final line, it's still broken. To be honest, I feel this image is a bit overused and a tad cliché by now.
I was disappointed to see that you hadn't really made the idea your own, you have stayed within the restrictions of convention.
Having said that, it is well written, the way you have made the lines appear structurally brings emphasis to the correct points of the poem eg, 'insists'.
This is well written, but I would like more originality.
Thanks!
Cute. A rare moment when simplicity is super OK and heartbreak is perfectly cliched. *golf clap*
Thank you!
So glad you like it!
This is really nice, girl.

Good job
Thank you so much, Birkhoff!
I really like reading your work. Its really meaningful and speaks volumes. This poem is short but speaks a lot. It convey's the picture of a broken heart and how one tries so hard not to fall apart. You managed to say so much in a few words. Mostly I poems I read are quite lengthy so this one is really something different for me. The title, too, is very accurate. So, to sum it up, you did an excellent job! Hope to read more of your unique articles...
Aw, thank you so much, nikita!
I'm so glad that you like it!
Your review really helped!
hey there

this poem is so great , it's simple but so meaningful and expressive .
i always try to write a short simple this one , but i found my self writing a long poem , but yours is amazing , i mean making the reader understand the idea with simple short lines , it's just prouves how skilful you are , i don't find any flaw from any side , so keep writing
smile
Aw thank you so much, smile!
This means a lot! :3
welcome friend
wow. I was just trying to write something like this... I guess you beat me to it, and did a much better job than I was doing! Good Job!
Aw, I'd still love to see yours!! And yours is most likely a lot better
Thank you
I don't review poems often, so I might be a little rusty. Also, congratulations on being my last review to my third star!

This is a very nice poem. I like that it's short and sweet, and that it does not leave the reader on their toes in the end; you ended it well. I also like the surprise at the end about this borken thing being your heart.
It's also very imaginative and the imagery is vivid. I can imagine someone attempting to fix this broken thing after many unsuccessful attempts.
Great poem CFG!
I hope you enjoy your third star!
I just got mine recently too! XD
Aw thank you for this wonderful review though!!
You're welcome.
I have to say I love this. I love the length because with each line you create an image in my head and I have to keep reading to see the whole picture you want us to see. I like that it's short and sweet and not drug out. It leaves room to appreciate the words more fully. Great job!
N'aww thank you, Butterfinger!
Nice, I can't really find faults with these. So, I'll award you with the most beautiful things have.
WE MEET ONCE MORE I SEE. Aha, sorry.
Aw thank you so much, though. :3
This poem is absolutely beautiful, loved it to bits!
It seems so simple, yet it's quite powerful and puts into words how we all feel sometimes.
Perhaps a comma after "Sellotape" is really all I can suggest, although in truth it doesn't matter either way...
Well done! (btw this isn't a review!)

Thank you, noni! And that IS a review in my opinion!
Thank you!
Hello, my friend.
First, let me say that I know nothing of the nit-picky poetry rules and whatnot. I can only really focus on how the poem made me feel and how it flowed to me.
Second, I did enjoy this poem. It was short, simple, and conveyed a universal message that we can all relate. Such poems appeal to me.
Third, a personal opinion:
This second stanza seems out of place. To me, it is bulky and takes away from the flow of the poem. As my eyes crossed over it, they had to stop and think for a moment. And not in a good way. However, that is only a suggestion.
Overall, I quite liked this. I'm sorry I cannot say more, my friend. I am limited in knowledge about these kinds of things, but I hoped I helped. Happy Writing!
Aw thank you for the review! And looking back at it, I can see your point! Thanks!
Great poem, my friend.
