I don't want to wake up mourning;
I don’t want to just be fine.
I don't want to keep accepting;
without caring about the price.
I don't want to keep on acting;
I don't want to keep a smile.
I don't want to keep on hoping;
without a single doubt in mind.
I don't want to be left here drowning;
not this time, no, not this time.
I want to keep on climbing;
and forget what I leave behind.
and forget what I leave behind.

I HATE THIS SOOOO MUCHHH OMGGGGG xD *future marma rereading her work*
Hey, AliceAfternoon. Hope this review helps.
Firstly, the first thing I noticed about this poem was the way it flowed effortlessly. It sounds a lot like lyrics when you read it. Its not a very easy feat so congratulations on successfully being able to do that.
The emotions behind this poem also stand out well. I loved how figurative expressions like: "I don't want to be left here drowning; not this time, no, not this time. " were used to express anguish felt by the persona. Good job on that.
Overall- I would say you have done a great job but I would like it if it were a tad longer but that's just me.

Thanks! It was actually a lyrical poem so that's probably why it felt like a song
hey its me Teacake013 ready to review your literature. just so you know i do not try to say anything that will make anyone mad. so if i do i'm so sorry. also i hope you review my story's and poems too. thanks for listening.
but if you did put in spacing it would really help to make this more readable. Other than that you did well.

Any way my first correction is that there is no spacing to this. its a thing everyone does sometimes so don't worry about that.
your spelling is on point in this not to mention your punctuation.
Now onto the moral of your poem, i liked it a lot it tells you to keep on going don't look behind and that's a great message for everyone.
overall this poem is relate-able to basically the whole human population, so you go that going for ya. I hope i gave you so helpful and encouraging tips and comments.
love your faithful reviewer, Teacake013
have a nice day!!!!!!
Hi! herby here for a review!
First of all, I like how this poem is written, it flows pretty well, which makes it nice to read. I feel like it communicates your idea well. The length is great, everything is great. I like how you ended the poem, too. The repetition of the final line, but in italics and over to the side is a great way to finish, it really drives home your point in a poetic way.
The only thing that I would have to correct is really small, it's in the tenth line of the poem. You say, "not this time, no not this time." I believe there should be a comma after the "no," so that it would read like this, "not this time, no, not this time." I think that the extra comma would add more of a pause which would make the line flow better.
Anyways, just that one thing, and other than that I htought this was a great poem. Thanks for the read!
