Listening to Max Ritcher when I write has been one of the main things keeping me actually managing to write a decent amount every day. I felt tired, unmotivated, and didn't want to write sit down and write, but once I put on November, I started going. And I managed to write 932 words ;-;
Also, another thing to celebrate: today is my 15th day of showing up for my daily writing practice <3 I'm on a roll baby
CharmI've written 5,859 words this week alone *o* I almost can't believe it Mar 11, 2023
After months of struggling to write, I am finally making progress again, getting into a writing routine that works for me. I've actually recently hit 50k on my first draft which feels amazing. I really wanted to share the news here even though I'm not very active anymore.
But I mean, look at this chart!
And these daily for counts!
:')
Charm(I started this Nano tracker for a short-term goal so it doesn't show the whole word count atm in case you're wondering why the 50k isn't reflected here) Mar 7, 2023

I missed my cake day since I was so busy with school, but it's crazy that seven years ago my 8th-grade self found this fun website where I could talk to other writers around my age all over the world. Now I'm 21 ;-; and I'm still writing <3 eternally grateful to this community for helping to shape me into the writer I am today.
Soooo NaNo was a bad idea. This month is crazy for me because of school and my health. I think I'm going to give myself a writing challenge in December for when I finish school.
MageheartI feel that way too much >> I wanted to get more done this month, but life has been so hectic with school & my health. ^^"
I was actually planning on doing a December writing challenge tooβwould you be down for being writing/hype buddies if we both end up doing that? π Nov 17, 2022
LaelI actually was thinking the same thing myself. π I was planning on getting serious about my writing again after this semester is over, so I think I'd be interested if there's a support group forming here Nov 17, 2022
MageheartOh wow! Maybe I could make a club for that π Nov 18, 2022
CharmI don't want to put too much pressure on myself but if I did start writing in December it would be after the 15th since that's when I'm officially done with finals. I start school again Jan 9th, so not much time. Nov 24, 2022

Just finished Day 6 of #NaNo with 701 words. Not great but not terrible. I'll hopefully catch up eventually but NaNo was meant to just get me writing more often and I'm definitely already making way more progress on this project than I did in the entirety of last month. So I'm proud of myself.
EternalRainYess!! Progress is progress! Nov 7, 2022
IcyFlameI had a terrible attempt yesterday (Sunday) so I'm way behind xD Well done on writing words! Nov 7, 2022
Day 4 & 5 of #NaNo were both flops but to be fair I'm going through a lot rn soooo I'm not gonna beat myself up about it. I'm just gonna hop back on the horse. Yeehaw.
Day 2 of #NaNo went well so that's good. I wrote a total of 1,147 words. I felt a bit iffy about the scenes I was writing but I kept going. I think it's always really hard to write the middle parts between major events so I just had to keep reminding myself that this is a first draft and I can always rewrite things later. I also spent a lot of time putting an outline together and that's looking pretty good. I need to make some more decisions on how to get certain characters from one plot point to another. My plan for NaNo is to reach the novel's mid-point which is a minor battle/major fight at a ball (heheh) by the end of November. It's also when the third POV's story finally interacts with two other POVs so that'll be really exciting. I actually already wrote one of those mid-point chapters for my class last year so it's been nice working towards something tangible that I am already sure of how it's gonna go. I definitely think I'm going to keep writing like that when needed (writing major scenes when I think of them) because I think it's more helpful for my process and it keeps me from feeling stuck at those low parts.
Day 1 of #NaNo went well. I wrote 1,191 words with an average speed of 23 words per minute :D hopefully I can keep this energy up! (Remember that my goal is 30k since I'm a full time uni student nearing finals lmao)
CharmAlso let me know if anyone wants to be buddies on NaNoWriMo.org Nov 2, 2022
EternalRainI'd love to be buddies! My goal is also less than 50k--I'm hoping for at least 25k, but if I somehow manage to get the whole 50k then that's cool too lmaoo. Nov 2, 2022
IcyFlameI'd love to be buddies! I'm IcyFlame on there too :) Congrats on a successful day one! Nov 2, 2022
