When you are alone, I'll sit with you,
In your pain, I will hold on to you,
In darkness, I will shine for you,
Till you find your glow again.
-
In your battles, I will fight for you,
In your sorrows, I will cry with you,
In your weakness, I'll believe in you,
Till you find your glow again.
-
When your world shakes, I will stand by you,
When you are lost, I'll search for you,
In your struggles, I won't give up on you,
Till you find your glow again.

This is very powerful. As someone who has felt pain and hurt, I know having someone there as a support system is very important. People don’t really recognize the pure beauty in just having someone to turn to whether it be a lover or a friend. Having someone who is there for you when you are falling apart and tearing yourself down is truly helpful in dark times.
Amazing work. Keep it up!

This poem works well because it is a series of things that are related to. In your, I will. With the repetition of till.
The repetition of till works well because it acts as a doorway into another part of the poems idea. It breaks up the tandem you built and almost comments on it. Works well.
Good job.
A story about the lengths people will or should go for each other.
The simple act of being there for someone when they need you.
I must assume the "Till you find your glow again." seems like it's referencing something else you have written about, I can see on the Related Items a story titled "You Still Glow" might this story be a sequel or simply a continuation Maybe.
But as is this still feels like it can stand alone just as well, Kind of like how Huckfinn can stand alone without Tom Sawyer.
I wish you the Best and I shall look at your other works.
Hello again, WinnyWriter!
This poem is incredibly comforting. It's a gentle reminder that even when you're at your lowest low, there's always going to be someone who will lift you—a really touching message. I see that you used repetition again, which provides a nice structure for the poem. My favourite line was, "In your struggles, I won't give up on you". Many people are afraid that those closest to them will run off when the mood dips, which makes it hit so close to home. I saw that you said this was written based on a fictional character. Which one was it? Maybe I know them. Anyways, you did a good job, and I enjoyed your work. I hope to see more of your work.
Happy writing!
Thanks! And it was Tanner from the Michael Very series by Richard Paul Evans.
Alright! And no problem.
Sorry, typo. What I meant to refer to was the Michael Vey series. Stupid autocorrect. %uD83D%uDE44
Hi WinnyWriter!! I'm Anne here for a review!
I loved the elegance of this poem. It wasn't very complicated, but expressed emotions that were. Which is so lovable about this poem.
Not only does this feel like reassurance, which of course it is, but to me, it also felt that the poet loves the person so much that they want them to trust themselves, believe in themselves and stand up for themselves. And in order to tell them that all of this is possible. S/he does just that to set a remarkable example. That was just my interpretation though. Because I feel, more than anyone else's trust, we need to trust ourselves, to find our glow again. That doesn't mean, though, that it doesn't help when someone else trusts us so much.
Only yesterday, I was listening to a song about this sort of relationship, where one is depressed and sad, and the other is trying to make them feel better constantly. It was expressed so well in this poem.
Absolutely loved it. Great work! Keep writing! <3
Hi, WinnyWriter, Pineapple here for a little review!
I really loved reading this poem. It was almost like a reassurance. I really liked that the overall message of the story was, "I will never leave your side". That is something we all need to hear once in a while. My one question is, how did you think of writing this?
My favorite line was "when you are lost, I'll search for you". It was so touching, and it was like the reader was being spoken to.
Overall, great job and I hope to see more of your writing!
Signed,
Pineapple
Thanks. Mostly my inspiration came from wanting to write in honor of a fictional character that I really like, who was subjected to a lot of trauma.
