AnimalQueen here! I'd just like to say this was a great poem, but I really think it would be better longer. I want to hear more details!

Also, I am personally more of a Rocky road person, but I respect your tastes. (No pun intended.)

That's about it, so the now! AnimalQueen out!

Lel. This was meant to be a trash poem for NaPo but it seems like people like it. I don't know why. xD

Hiya! Berri here with a review!ヾ(●・◇・●)ノ

I relate to this poem on a deep personal level. Vanilla is objectively the best flavor out there!!! I'm really happy that it's getting some attention. Cherry? Bleh. Gross. Vanilla? Yes. I'll take vanilla anything any day. This haiku is super cool!

am I allowed to frame this on my wall

So as you can probably tell, I'm a huge fan of vanilla. I really love the simple wording you used here, too!

There was nothing wrong with it error-wise either, so that's also amazing! Good job! There is one thing I suggest though-

Sweet? How about delicious?

Maybe you could change that up to-

Sweet- how about delicious?

Or

Sweet? How about delicious?

Anyways, that's about it!

Keep on writing!

Berri out! ヽ(´∇`)ノ

Please feel free to ignore my advice, it is not intended to offend you or hurt you, or to demean your story or make it seem bad, but brace yourself for hurt regardless of what I have stated and have my full apology for any hurt this may have caused
that said . . .
1. What I liked
I liked how you describe vanilla it makes me think about it. I also loved how your obvious passion for the flavor shines through.
3. Length and Interest
This part may offend you most of all, so be warned but I really think that this is too short. To short for someone to get into. I really feel like you should add more to it then what you have, it might perk up your readers interest rates more.
4. Flow and style
Once again beware of the offender factor! I'm not calling you a bad poet I can feel it in my bones that you are a good one but somehow that didn't shine through here. It didn't seem like real poetry-well maybe it wasn't classical still . . .not alot of style.
5. Overall & Encouragment
Regardles of my honesty about this and feel free to cast aside rude reviews I didn't intend for it go come out that way-I really liked this despite the problems. It showed so much but is so little. Keep up such amazing work.

Radrook here to provide another review with the intention to help others make their poem better and to provide advice that might prove useful fr other compositions that they might write in the future. If indeed any offense is taken for anything that I say. please accept my apologies, it was not intended,

That having been said::

Thanks for the opportunity to read and provide feedback for this syllabic poem about vanilla written in the Haiku which is syllabic verse. For those unfamiliar. syllabic poetry only requires that a set number of syllables per line be used.

Syllabic verse is a poetic form having a fixed or constrained number of syllables per line, while stress, quantity, or tone play a distinctly secondary role — or no role at all — in the verse structure. It is common in languages that are syllable-timed, such as Japanese or modern French or Finnish — as opposed to stress-timed languages such as English, in which accentual verse and accentual-syllabic verse are more common.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syllabic_verse

Traditional Haiku syllabic verse requires the following syllable count

5
7
5

With a total of seventeen syllables
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haiku

Another is the American cinquain with a syllable count of

2
4
6
8
2

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinquain

About the poem:

This syllabic poem asks us what vanilla is. Now, that can be understood in two ways. What is vanilla in its totality or how does vanilla taste? The second line makes it clear that what is meant is how vanilla tastes. Is it delicious or is it just sweet? The answer isn't revealed in the third line only the poet's opinion that vanilla is the best flavor ever.

The question that arises is can it be both sweet and delicious. The answer of course is yes. In fact, being sweet might be a very necessary part of a food being delicious. Remove sweetness from milk chocolate and there goes the deliciousness. However, in the case of Vanilla, that doesn't really seem to be the case. I know because I use vanilla all the time and sweetness isn't what attracts me to it but a unique flavor instead. So to me vanilla is just plain delicious although sweetness might be its secondary component.

Strange how the poem made me delve deeply into the nature of vanilla.

Suggestions?

Well, I really have none this time.

Looking forward to reading more of your work
