Escape

In Poetry

Starring up the night sky

Wondering why would I climb so high

Wanting to reach the stars

Just to get away from receiving more scars

Enduring the pain

Almost driving me insane

I want to be free

But I can’t escape this feeling inside of me

Freedom is never near

I just want to forget the ones I thought I held dear

I will escape from you

So you can feel pain like I do

This is Kman134. I'm here to review your work.

The suffocating feeling of being trapped in a disagreeable circumstances in n unbearable thing that many people tend to go through. We all deal feel the crushing weight of the world and wish to escape that feeling, wanting to fly into the heavens and be free. The universe is a wild animal that grazes and gallops. we have no control over it, but we can live in it. that doesn't mean we can't explore it and find what gives us meaning to cope with the problems that weight us down. Unfortunately, those we hold dear and care for are usually the ones to hold us down and keep us from transversing to the heavens and finding ourselves.

From the way the speak talks, it is indicated that he/she is hurt by someone, or someone is hurting him/her and wishes to get away from these people. Don't let them control you or abuse you. get away as fast of you can and just keep running until you find the strength to stand up to these demons.

This was well written and very philosophical and dramatic. I hope to read more form you.

Radrook here a once again
to offer some suggestions.
Apologies if i offend.
It isn’t my intention.

Please feel free to cast aside
all things you deem not helpful.
But if you do be sure its true
by being extra careful.

That having been said

Thanks for sharing this poem which expresses the feelings of a person who feels trapped in disagreeable circumstances that the considers unbearable. The speaker goes on to describe how he stares up at the sky longing to be there far above all his problems. Persons who are deemed dear are described as the culprits for his agonies and a longing for revenge is expressed. The speaker tells us that his leaving these people will inflict them with the same agony that he is presently undergoing.

This seems to indicate that part of his suffering is that he has been abandoned in some way. Perhaps by people who traditionally are supposed NOT to abandon a person such as sons, daughters, parents, siblings-especially when the person is in an advanced age or ill. Then the kick in the teeth is really agonizing.

The poem will strike a sensitive nerve in those who have lived through or are undergoing such a bitter experience.

Very nicely written. Looking forward to reading more of your work.
