Future Possibilities

E - Everyone

In Poetry

Closing my eyes,

My mind going blank,

Wanting the pain to disappear.

I open my eyes,

Think of the future,

What I can do, what I can become.

Forget the past,

Move forward,

Do whatever it takes for me to survive.

I walk toward my path,

Of being me,

Open and free.

No more heartache,

No more drama,

No more bad memories.

Move forward,

That is my plan,

And I’ll keep going till the very end.

This is a short poem! I love the concept of this poem. I can actually understand this poem because I can relate to it. Sometimes, its not hard to forward even if we are trying our best to forget but it takes time.

When I read the poem, I felt like the poem is telling me to go forward and never look back. This poem is an inspiration to everyone. Its good that you create this kind of poem! I hope I can read more of this kind of work. Great job! :D

Amazing! Just amazing. I loved it. I really am tempting to do a review to make it look flawless, at least in my point of view.
So, let's start talking about the poem.

My mind going blank

Changing the "going" to "went" might just look it even nicer. At least it does to me! haha

Think of the future

Thinking of the future? Present continuous tense, here, would sound better.

Forget the past,
Move forward,

Forgetting the past,
Trying to move forward,

How does this sound? Well, I think it looks better in the Present continuous tense, right?

Overall, it is lovely. I really really can relate it and this makes it such a nice poem to me. Thanks for writing this poem. I needed it.
Keep writing. I love your stories and poems! You are amazing.
