The Unseen

In this troubling time
We must stand strong
Together we are now
Together we'll always be

There are children crying
Dying, they are
From all of these simple things
Yet no one sees them

But together, we will see
See them and reach out
The children that no one notices
Will be our army, standing strong

We are the Unseen
The ones standing in the street
The ones saving your lives
Yet you walk on, so unseen we remain

But we will no longer be
Hidden from society
Together we will rise
The Unseen will become the Seen

You reminded me of the whole Invisible Children thing, but I still really like this poem. The line "The ones standing in the street, the ones saving your lives" was my favorite. I love the truth in the idea that someone can be important and unseen at the same time. Nicely done.

You are all the colours in one, at full brightness.
