Wohooo! We are going great so far! Both Team Maple and Team Lily have enthusiastic reviewers and knights fighting the green room monsters to find our very own Golden Goose. By the way, we are deciding on a name for the g o o s (as suggested by @yosh), so far Sir Feathers is the only noble name competing with Duck. Be sure to give your insights as we choose the name. Our various knights and members of yws are on their mission to find the Golden goose, alas @Mageheart@Rook and @PenguinAttack (the bird experts) had to break it to them that both the g o o s they found were not the golden one. While @KaiaJersaga came to the call of @momonster and saw dusty and forgotten monsters locked in the cage of the Green Room. He felt sympathetic and wanted to free them, but will freeing the monsters instead of fighting them help the knights find the Golden Goose? No one knows... This week also had some brilliant reviews by both the teams, Team Lily has written 60 GR Reviews and Team Maple97 reviews for a total of 157 reviews so far. Congratulations to Team Maple for maintaining their lead in the competition. Best of luck to both teams for the next week!
(* Please Note: For Week Three - > Please start a new post to make counting easy! Next week runs from June 15 - June 21 plus any Green Room reviews that you forgot to log last week.)
Alrighty, Team Lily, great work getting in those reviews the last two weeks - this is your Last Call for Week Three -> be sure to post your green room review links before tomorrow. Thank you!
What a week! Reviewers in both Team Maple and Team Lily are doing an amazing job in clearing out that Green Room with over 200 reviews written so far!
Don't forget to follow along with some goose catching chaos and join in here - this week some new adventurers joined the quest but unfortunately there's been no sightings of the Golden Goose just yet! But progress is being made and we're excited to see what we find next week!
This week the teams both wrote some really wonderful reviews. Team Lily wrote 21 GR Reviews and Team Maple wrote 377 reviews for a grand total of 218 reviews so far. According to alliyah's original guestimates we'll need around 900 GR reviews to clear the Green Room at the current rate of works being added, so this is tremendous progress towards that goal.
Congratulations on pulling ahead this week Team Maple! And good luck to both teams in the week ahead! Let's find that Goose!!
(* Please Note: For Week Four - > Please start a new post to make counting easy! Next week runs from June 22 - June 28 plus any Green Room reviews that you forgot to log last week.)
Also a reminder that only Green Room reviews count towards this one, folks! Any reviews that aren't the first or second review on a lit work won't be included in your totals!
It's been another strong week of reviewing from both teams! Team Lily was able to add 21 reviews to their total review count - bringing them up to 102 reviews while Team Maple stayed ahead with 49 reviews added to their total review count - bringing them up to 186 reviews - the really exciting part is that this means together the teams have contributed 288 Green Room Reviews this month - which is nearly half of the total site reviews for June! Way to go reviewers, you are all absolutely amazing - and the teams are still absolutely close enough for either side to win.
We are also getting ever-closer to the Golden Goose at the time of this post in fact there are only 61 Green Room Reviews Needed - that's really getting close! You may have heard there's even been a Golden Goose Sighting over at @Snoink's backyard yesterday -
if you're following the Tagbook (which you should totally participate in) we have identified 2 types of potential bait for the goose and a sparkly net in the works, now we just need to bring everything together and actually catch the goose in the Green Room! (We're getting close... I think...)
Finally, it might seem counter-intuitive to add more works to the Green Room while trying to clear it, but please consider writing me a story or poem about tortoises - I promise I'll review it too! Great Literary Tortoise Contest (deadline July 1).
Wonderful work in the first half of our Search reviewers - we just have one month remaining, but we are doing wonderfully!
(* Please Note: For Week Five - > Please start a new post to make counting easy! Next week runs from June 29->July 5 plus any Green Room reviews that you forgot to log last week.)
