The Young Writers Society respects the intellectual property of its members. All original work remains the property, in whole, of its creator — today, tomorrow, and for as long as you want it that way.
Your work is yours forever
When you share a poem, story, chapter, or other original creation on YWS, you keep full ownership. We do not claim your work. No works, graphics, or other original creations may be reused or published without the explicit permission of their creator.
Zero tolerance for plagiarism
The Young Writers Society has a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism. Any member who infringes upon the intellectual property of its original creator will be banned permanently from the site.
Report a concern
If you believe a member of the site has misused or infringed upon yours or another's intellectual property, please email support@youngwriterssociety.com with documentation supporting your claim. You can also reach us through our contact page.
