Verse 1 G C Em D
*
*
You are God's creation, a beautiful masterpiece
Even though sin has entered His grace is so much bigger.
Don't let world get down, pull yourself off the ground.
God has reached out His hand
Hold it and trust in His plan.
*
Em D
You're going to make it
I promise!
*
*
Chorus G D Em C
When everything seems like it is going wrong
When God no longer seems so strong
I promise, He is still there.
When the doubts and questions arise
And when all you want to do is cry at night
Em C I promise you're going to make it.
*
 Em C G D
He will never forsake you, he will never leave you.
You are His child He will always keep you
By His side even through the hardest times.
He is God and you are not
Trust in His power and not what you got.
I promise you will get through this in Him.
He always wins
And you're His friend
He can see the end
So trust in Him

Verse 2
We all know you're not perfect, we have all fallen short.
But God sent His only Son, and He said "It is finished, it is
done".
No longer are we bound by sin, but we've been set free and raised again
To life, made new, being changed everyday
God's grace is sufficient always.
*
*
Bridge C G Em D
I know life can be difficult
I know life can be hard.
I know the grief and troubles
Can overwhelm your heart.
But God is so much greater
And His love is here for you.
So rest every day in that truth.

Hi! again WindSailor,

I really like your compositions, they're heartfelt. You emphasize that GOD is always there and is watching over us. Specifically, I really liked this lines:

But God is so much greater
And His love is here for you.
So rest every day in that truth.

Because this tells that we don't have to worry about what will happen everyday because GOD ensures that we're safe and secured.

Keep on composing and writing :)

First off you don't see many spiritual poems or stories on here it seems and your is one of the few ive actually liked a lot. One thing im not a music person so I didn't get the C D G ( the letters) in the first lines. The lines themselves I felt them inspiring I enjoyed the first line where you say you are god's creation perfect and beautiful. Because it really pulls everything together and the message of you are who you are and that what makes you, you. I also liked when you got to the last stanza and you start with " I know" it helps the reader feel as if the speaker is there for them as well. Next I also like how you talk about God and all he ahs done and that sinning is okay because no one is perfect it doesn't have the " You sin so you are going down" vibe that you feel sometimes. I enjoyed the more love an forgiveness take. I see no grammical errors to show you so great job. Overall really well done and I hope you keep on writing.

The letters are the chords if anyone wishes to play it. And also they are there for my own memory. Thanks for the review. I am glad you liked it.

I love this. It's perfect. All the truths about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The only thing that's bugging me is:
"Even though sin has entered His grace is so much bigger."
It just seems like one big sentence, no punctuation.
If you put a comma between 'entered' and 'His', or just put 'His grace is so much bigger.' on another line, then that'd be good.
Thanks for writing this amazing work, and have a nice day. :D

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
