In Song Lyrics

Verse 1:

Beautiful Majesty
You're all that I ever need
I crown You king of my life
The only one I live to satisfy
I adore everything that You are
Lead me to Your heart

You're my one true love
Oh Christ,
You complete my life
Nothing will compare to Your grace
And the warmth of Your embrace
Oh God

Creator of all
Savior from the fall
You're my help and my support
The only One worth living for
I adore everything that You are

Lead me to Your heart

Just stumbled across your lyrics folder, wow that is extensive!
Right I know songs are very repetitive, particularly the Christian genre, (at my church at least,) but this seems a little too repetitive? A third verse would be welcome methinks...
However apart from this perfectly fine! I think it could do with a little punctuation, but the lyrics are very good, and I would like to hear the tune! My favorite line was "The only One worth living for", although I don't see why "One" is capitalized.
Hope this helps,
Take That You Fiend!

Sometimes any word which could stand for God is capitalized; 'One', in this case, falls into that category.

Ah, that makes sense. I always thought God was capitalized as a proper noun, and god implys therefore multiple gods. Thanks :-)

Hi, LLZ, here, on a quick review for the day.

The lyrics are great, but it's hard to think of a tune to go with it.
Is it supposed to be like a slow song?
The lyrics do tell a story and I could imagine everything being told through the lyrics.
Every song tells a story of some sort and that's exactly what yours did!
There could be some parts that could be changed to make it even better and you could also, possibly, extend it. If you get what I mean?

It's beautifully told.

Great job and keep on writing :D

Where did you take the idea of praising our Greatest reason to live in here?
^^ I loved it. Really liked and I am imagining the pitch and rythm right now.
I would like to say your writing has a unique personality, it is engaging, it has strong contructions and It's well gathered.
I missed a rhyme, but it is artistically beautiful.
You could also had written a bridge before the end, but it is nice.

I hope next time you post you can include the notes too, so I can try it at home. I loved it. Keep working! You should try poetry too. Poetry is the easiest way to get inspired andwrite songs. E.g.:Psalms book. Pure poetry!
Hugs!

Hey! ajruby here to review!

Okay, so constructive stuff first...

1. The punctuation needs some fixing. I know, it's not something you usually worry that much about with lyrics and poems, but it can be confusing without correct punctuation.

2. "The only One worth living for" I don't think one needs to be capitalized, but I could be wrong.

I really love this and I think it's awesome to see songs like this published! Keep up the great work and may the reviews be ever in your favour!

Hello, WindSailor!

I thought these were beautiful lyrics. What kind of a tune would it be, have you thought about it? I think it could work both as an upbeat gospel power woman song or a more calm tune with an acoustic guitar on the background :P I guess that's a good sign, having many possibilities!

I don't have that much to say on the actual words, but I did feel like it ended quite quickly. Of course, when reading lyrics, you have to consider intros, the various repeats, instrumental breaks etc. but I don't think a third verse could hurt! There are lots of songs with just two verses and a chorus, but I noticed that I was left wanting a bit more material. The two current verses are also quite similar to each other and the chorus in the sense that if I didn't have the directions, I might not be able to tell which one was the chorus. However, I think you have a good base here that's easy to build on!

I hope this helped, even a little bit!

Thanks! Yeah, I wrote this a while back, and I always felt is was lacking content within it. I'll probably be adding a third verse, or a bridge of some kind.

All my life I've wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific.
