A Little Bit of Everything (By Lavender)

What has a little bit of everything, all of the time?
What has both pedophilia and rainbows & sunshine?
What has evil and good and the grey intertwine'?
What makes me so overstimulated that I can't find a rhyme?

It gives you the power of the world in the palm
Of your hand, it creates and destroys realms
In the Age of Information, it is the deathly calm
And the storm that comes after the psalms.

I have come to the conclusion that I will
Come back home even before the seal
Of approval comes from the ministry deals --
I don't want spotlight, I just want a hot meal.

And on this platform, my name will be shown
As the lead archaeologist who dug it from the stone.
And on this, my love, as I type on my phone --
I'll be back before May, I'll be back to our home!

All of the time... (Yes yes I understand the reference)
I even know the answer. Tho I feel like starting with THIS right in your second stanza isn't exactly a good idea.

And I do like the rhyme xp

I guess knowing the song really makes you realise just how much is reference, making everything line kinda redundant.

Ohh love the way the last stanza develops and the nod that this will definitely conclude before May! That's really clever :3

Thanks for the review as always, Tika!

I mean, yeah, anyone who gets the reference in the very first line kinda unlocks the poem instantly -- it's the same for some other riddles too. " "...Power of the world in the palm / Of your hand" was supposed to be a pseudo-reference to Dr Octopus, while the last two stanzas is just Lavender talking about how she wants to come back home.
