Feelings are like
....political leaders.
(humorous)
You never know
what they will make you do.
(Including yourself)
They can make you
pay money.
(Like taxes)
They make you
say untrue things.
(I did not have sexual intercourse with that woman)
You might even wake up
to find a political leader in your bed.
(Because of feelings.)
How silly
stay away
(from political leaders)
from feelings.
(especially the ones for political leaders)
Can you tell I got bored. Feedback please haha!

Hey, Flow.
I just know you can make more out of this.
My reviews for you are getting shorter and shorter... xD I really don't think I'm going to be much help here. This is quite a quirky poem, so I'm not sure how I'm planning on reviewing it. I'm d enough at reviewing poetry as it is. I swear this is going to be a one paragraph review or something... I'm terribly sorry.
Anyway, I liked this. It's so true too! I think it's an interesting comparison actually. You know, the whole politicians and feelings being connected to each other. It's clever how you've linked their similarities. Like I said above, I seriously am not going to be able to help you on this. There's only one critique I can come up with, and it's a suggestion anyway. God, I suck at reviews like this.
What I'd basically like to see in this is... well, more of it, I guess. Maybe you could add in some imagery? At the moment, you kind of like have a subject and you leave it at that. You don't go into any depths. Does that make any sense? I'd like for you to take the poem a step further. Add to it, I suppose. You have something really nice here, but I do think you could expand on it. You've written some wonderful poem in your time, Flow, so I'd love to see you raising this one to some of their standards, not that this is at all bad though. Don't get me wrong.
It turns out I was right. This review's been useless... I'm so sorry, I really am...! Ask me to review fiction more often; I'm better at that. xD
Keep writing,
xoxo Skins
Hahaha. This poem made me laugh. Comparing feelings with political leaders is certianly a new way to look at it. I also like your use of parentheses. And I'm too lazy to do a real review (not that this really requires one). So yeah. Great job.
All in all, I really liked this poem and thought it was clever and humorous, however, the rhythm feels off throughout, and, while disconcerting, does not detract (too much) from the poem as a whole.
For something written while you were bored, this was really good!
Heheh, so true. This poem made me giggle just for the fact that it was indeed a humorous poem that made some funny, yet obvious points, like the part about lying. Loved it! But, of course, I do have a few things I'd like to address due to some confusion felt reading.
Really funny poem all around. I will admit, however, that it wasn't exactly written extremely poetically, but for it's purpose, it made me laugh and I think it's good for that. A little tip for humorous poems that might help is to maybe write them with more of a rhyme scheme and flow/pattern, When people typically read a humorous poem, they usually expect it to rhyme and maybe even have a tune (though not all the time). Just an idea, though, really.
