This song seems depressing, but it's actually bouncy and stuff. Though, I don't sing. Don't make me sing! XD
[Verse 1]
I'm being attacked by illiterate mimes
They don't know how to speak
But they know how to rhyme
Their faces are painted like the clouds
White; like our stolen flag
[Chorus]
I'm so done, I'm so done
With these illiterate mimes
They bounce around me
and they drive me bizarre
I'm so done, I'm so done
With playing their clown.
I think it's funny to think that
I thought that I was in charge
[Verse 2]
They have come around to start a war
They often make me dream at night
Dream of things that are not mine
Dream of things that often hide
Like our tears and our heart
[Chorus]
I'm so done, I'm so done
With these illiterate mimes
They bounce around me
and they drive me bizarre
I'm so done, I'm so done
With playing their clown.
I think it's funny to think that
I thought that I was in charge
[Bridge]
Though they look at me
So unplesently...
They don't like being hid
Inbetween my ribs...
[Chorus]
My, I love, My, I love~
These illiterate mimes
They bounce around me
and they drive me bizarre
I'm not done, I'm not done
With playing their clown.
I think it's funny to know those
flummoxed things are in charge
[End]
I give up on being brave
I give up on being scared
I might dance with you and these mimes
Until the night waves GoodBye.
Hey Sololol!

It's always strange reviewing lyrics without hearing them sung. The tone and message can be completely different depending on the delivery -- so apologies in advance if I've missed the point! I try to understand it as best I can.
So the main focus here are these "illiterate mimes" that hide "inbetween your ribs" and get you into trouble or mischief. It's a rather cool idea because, to me, they seem like those wild impulses that can sometimes overtake you on a sunny day. The sort that convince you that something is a great idea even though it's not!
And, I guess, that makes sense with you "playing their clown" -- giving in to them and letting the mischief run wild. That's an appealing idea, though I'm not sure that it's the message of your lyrics. Maybe if it is then you could try making the hints a bit less subtle?
In verse 2 it says:
But I'm not sure how that fits in -- everything is so vague! When I listen to fun songs like this they usually describe events that seem too good to be true, or things that have happened to the lyricist. What's consistent, though, is that they're specific and they have real examples that people can latch on to.
Maybe that's the crux of the issue -- that even in lyrics we need to be shown something rather than just told about it. I wonder if you have some anecdote that you can associate with these "illiterate mimes"? Maybe the illiterate mimes are actually your actions in the absence of words! I'm not sure, but I'd like to find out.
I think that was a bit of a ramble but hopefully it's been helpful. Take care and catch you around in chat!
This song is really cute. I like how your speaker changes from hating the mimes to loving them once they give up on actually being frustrated with them. I feel like the mimes are some symbolic thing, especially because of some of the words you associate with them. "Illiterate' being one of them, but also real mimes can't really hide between ribs.
That being said I am confused about some of the things you say. "They drive me bizarre" is awkward because bizarre is typically used like: Well that was bizarre. It can be replaced with words like weird, unusual, etc, so if we attempt to replace the word with something else, we get, "They drive me unusual" which doesn't really fit. Crazy works because crazy can be a state of mind, but unusual isn't really used as a mindset.
Aside from that, the second verse doesn't really seem to connect that well to things, and I think that's the symbology of the mimes coming into play. I also don't understand what the white flag is, but overall, I get the picture clearly. For me, I start out in France at a little table on the corner of a cafe, but somehow the mimes follow her home to her bed and start terrorizing her and dressing her up.
I'd love to see a music video with this poem XD
So, how much can I pay you... to make you sing.
o.o Loooool~ I'd tell you, if I could actually sing! xD But thank you. *bows head*
We should work together to make our own album
Hahaha! xD If you can make this a proper tune, I'm in. Lol. <3
