Hello! I know I am late but still wanted to pop! I would like to know your goals for NaPo, what do you plan for NaPo? If you ever want to write a collab, feel free to pm me. I am eager to write a collab with you peopleโ you and @whatchamacallit. That's only possible when you two don't have any problem. And I will see some of your poetries.

hi hi again Lily! I just wanted to pop by since we're like a quarter of the way through NaPo already @_@ and check how it's going! I've been absolutely loving the poems you've written so far, it's so fun to see a fairytale princess get some poetic character development <33
Do you need any friendly newspaper whacks for motivation? a symbolic oreo and milk? some fun poem prompt/challenges?
Keep up the awesome poeting, you're doing amazing :)

Hi bluewaterlily! Looks like we're buddies for NaPo this year!! I'm so so so excited - can't wait for the site to get overrun with awesome poetry <3
Quick introduction, since I don't think we've chatted much around the site! I'm whatcha (she/her), I'm obsessed with everything about music and poetry and theatre, and my goal for this NaPo is (hopefully) a poem a day - though I think I'd be happy with just 15 as well ^^
What are you aiming for this NaPo? Is there anything super important I should know about you?
whatcha c:
bluewaterlily Hi whatcha! I'm really excited about being buddies for Napo! I'm Lily or you can go by my real name, Taylor.
Music, theatre, and poetry are all great interests! I also adore poetry, and while I'm not musically or theatre inclined, I appreciate people who are, especially since there's so much overlap between the three areas.
Fifteen poems a great goal ^^. My goal is thirty, though fifteen would probably be a more realistic goal for me. So for my NaPo, one of the goals is to continue what I started with my last NaPo from last year. it focused on fairytale retellings from female point of views. One of the most important 'characters' ended up being Cinderella, and my version of Cinderella was very disenchanted with royal life and ambivalent about marriage and motherhood, so I wanted to continue exploring that because it's actually the basis s for a future project I'll be working on. I also have a bit of an introduction that might add more context, but so far that's what I'm focused on, just creating little stories, though I'm two poems in and kind of wondering if it's getting redundant or if I need other characters too, so I might bring in other fairytale characters and stories just to break up the monotony.
Either way, I hope there are some poems that you can enjoy. And outside of poetry, I love all things reading and writing, which are the bulk of my hobbies. Reading, thinking about reading. I also really love fairytales and Taylor Swift.

Hijinks Ohh, a poetic fairytale retelling sounds really neat - especially digging further into characters like Cinderella and developing them into your own interpretations ^^ I definitely can't wait to follow the story and character development :)
Reading's awesome! (honestly I haven't been doing as much reading recently for fun as I'd like, but I'm hoping to change that this summer oops) And Taylor Swift is AMAZING <3
