Well, for some strange reason I woke up at 5am this morning... so, I just grabbed my notebook to write this. Obviously, I was half asleep because normally my poems have various stanzas. But I think it's pretty cool as it is. I don't expect you to understand the poem, although, if you can give it a coherent interpretation... I'll give you Thanksgiving Turkey!... *thumbs up* and cake. *grins* xD
I interrupted my sleep,
to halt my step's monstrous speed.
The night woke me up,
when it spanked my guts;
punishment and reward at the same time,
revenge for going to bed being furiously mad.
I had gone out to embrace the rain,
hoping I'd come clean with myself.
And it was so cold,
my hair never got dry.
Until I watched my blind stone walls
become sand.
Suddenly, pride was insecurity,
and shame was due to the past...
Lies and folly schemes became naked
before my eyes and mind.
I saw the vulnerability of what is feared,
the beauty in the cryptic,
and the happy in the sad,
the right in the wrong,
and peace in the war.
When I cried my last tear,
the sun was facing me,
Revealing that what can burn,
can also set free.
That was intense, but the good kind. I love this type of poetry, the kind that forces you in and makes you stay submerged. I sensed a resolved desperation in this poem, I also felt a thread of acceptance and acknowledgement of reality. But the reality was alot more fanciful and beautiful.
It was stunning. Just a wake up call.
The part about embracing the rain was potent, yet gentle.
My congratulations on an accomplished piece.
'Revealing that what can burn can also set free.'

^This.
From what I've read (I'll be honest at the moment it's all of about two poems) you write with the words of somebody that has lived a very long time, which is good - because it makes your poems really heartfelt.
Keep it up
I think I get the outline of what it means, but it is hard to explain. That is really beautiful. I thought I was a poet, but my poems are like garbage compared to yours. I don't really get the part about blind stone walls though, it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the story. I love the end though. Now wheres my turkey?
