I want to love what I write.

I haven't wrote to you in a while,

With good reason.

I don't know what I feel,

I don't know what to say.

This dull ache has made a home in my head,

And it looks like it is here to stay.

It has covered up my meaning to write,

Covered up the last emotions,

Done away with what I struggled to hold.

I don't have a rhyme scheme anymore,

The words never flow.

I just have to get them down,

For my sake,

For others.

I can't help but say that I am sorry,

For what?

I don't know.

I want to write beautiful poems again,

Ones that make me feel whole.

I want to love what I write,

And enjoy doing so.

I am sorry for not writing and for wasting about,

It is all my fault,

Not anyone else.

Hay Harry here for a review: OK first off I loved your poem and can't wait to read more. Now time for the good things about this poem. First I loved the ending, it made me feel like your character finally relied the truth and made me smile but also cry when she blamed herself for all that happened. The beginning I liked too because of the way that you write makes the reader feel the main character and understand. Makes you want to keep reading. The middle keeps up with what you are trying to say and I am thrilled about with what you have accomplished. Now time for the bad or if you want to call them the nitpicking.
First off I noticed below that they said you needed to capitalize the beginning of the line, I agree but I see you have already taken that advice. I know some people don't like this but I would add a period at the end of each line. That gives the reader more room to stop and think about what you are trying to say.
For example you wrote this part: I don't know what I feel,

I don't know what to say. I would write this: I don't know what I feel.
I don't know what to say.
But like I said not many people like that and it is nitpicking so you don't have to use my idea. Also try to make words rhyme. Try using the rhyme scheme ABCB. that is easy and you can start off with simple words like for example. You can use blow with flow and maybe add more to your poem. because you kind of left the reader hanging when you said It is all my fault, Not anyone else. You don't explain what it is that your character is blaming herself for. Overall good job and I can't wait to read more of your work your writing gives me inspiration and Happy Writing. :)

Hey! It's Sarah12 here to review this beautifully written poem.
The poem flows really well, and it holds emotions that every avid writer will feel at some point. However, like MadWriter7 said, the ending could be stronger. The only other thing I noticed was that you capitalized every line. I would say, since you used punctuation, the parts that are broken up from a sentence, you don't need to capitalize the beginning of the line. For example, if I were to write, "Color swirled throughout the night, lighting up the midnight sky", I would break it into two lines at the comma and would not capitalize "lighting". However, that is personal choice, so if you want to capitalize every line, ignore me.

Overall, it was a great read. Good job, and keep writing!

Hey! I'm here to review your wonderful poem!

I really loved this poem and how it flows so well. I feel like the ending could have been stronger. Also you have some grammar mistakes in this poem. For example when you said "what" you didn't put a question mark there.

Anyway I think that's it for now. I really enjoyed the story behind this poem and I relate to it a lot.

Hope you are having a wonderful day
Rachel

Thank you for telling me about the question mark, I type so fast that sometimes I miss stuff. Thank you for reviewing!
