Leaving

Wolf, Wolf, gazing high

Looking into the endless sky

Howl, Howl

At the moon

Praising the spirits up above

Death is the only price higher than love

When its time to leave, She stands

A lone wolf in the vast lands

She walks away from Her pack

She walks away and never looks back

I like this a lot, Tigerlilly!

Very creative, and I love the rhythm and rhyme in this. It's very emotional and I love the shortness of it.
If you are looking for improvements or changes, you can either split this poem up in stanzas:

Wolf, Wolf, gazing high
Looking into the endless sky
and so on. Or you can make the poem longer, though no pressure on that, cause you don't have to at all. Or instead of doing anything, you could just keep it how it is.
It could be the way of your poem, I'm not sure, but you might have missed adding a period at the end. (Or it could have just been how you wrote the poem) Either way, it's fine.

As we go farther into this poem, you had a punctuation error somewhere in here.
When its time to leave, She stands
A lone wolf in the vast lands

Okay, it's the first line there we're focusing on. Instead of "its" you should change it to "it's" to stand for "it is".

Overall: let's see... I love how you were creative, as I had said before, and the starting. It really got you to the rhythm of the poem so you got people to feel the beat of it. My favorite line was:
Death is the only price higher than love

It was very intriguing to me and I think it's good to add that in there.

Keep it up,

Thanks for the awesome review! I will take care of that one mistake and I think I'm going to keep the way its written how it is, considering I came up with this a few years ago. Again, thanks for the review! :)

Another newbie reviewing!!!

This is so so so good!!!! It flows very, very well and the mysterious nature of the poem is very well conveyed. Honestly I can't really say anything constructive because this is so so so good!!! The message of walking along from the pack and chasing your own dreams in very clear and the message is shown in a very unique and beautiful way.
Good Job, Tigerlilly, and keep writing!!!

Ooooh, Tigerlilly, what a mysterious, beautiful poem! The flow is almost lyrical, the way it comes together, and the stance of the lone wolf is fascinating. Its cool how you provide this neat aspect into why wolves howl up at the moon - to honor the spirits up above. It's (the poem) compassionate in its flow, delicate in its ideals, and the poem is creative! It leaves me curious, eager to hear more of the wolf, and also somewhat shocked. Who is the wolf? Why does she leave? Where does she go? There are many people who go off the beaten path, those who refuse to follow along with a pack - in my opinion, the way you conveyed this example of a lone wolf seems to convey such a powerful example in real life. Maybe this wolf sees the sky, howls to those above, the only ones to whom love may come back in a state of isolation, though being out of the pack can have its benefits. Yeah, I know, it's all in my head, but there is so much meaning in so few words that I'm deeply impressed, Tigerlilly. :D Excellent job with your formatting, style, and creativity, and I look forward to more of your works! Great job! :D

Thanks so much! Your review really helps! I can understand your curiosity about the wolf, and I must say, I do have personal reasons for the wolf and why she leaves. The wolf was meant to resemble me, for I had always had family issues and longed for a better life.
I hope I quenched your thirst for answers, and I really enjoyed sharing this with you. Thanks!
