The ironic twinkling
of broken glass on asphault spells out
"beautiful destruction"
spells out my middle name.
Seeing it here,
the ocean seems impossibly distant
and I suddenly can't remember
how the last book I read ended,
but if you were here, you would
take my thoughts and
fold them into paper flowers:
lovely, flawless, but blank.
I want
to remember what was
on my mind, but
can't bring myself to unflold
and leave them creased,
imperfect.
Your strength has always been
my weakness.

Hey, it's Dawny for a review.
So, when I opened this poem, knew that it was going to be something sad and ironic, and right away I felt the mood of the poem. I really like how you wrote it in such away that seems delicate, and yet destructive at the same time.
It really was a beautiful poem, and one that every person is going to go through, or has gone through, in their life. I like the fact, that although short, it had almost an impact on the poem - especially the line "Your strength has always been my weakness."
Good job!
