Love is the conqueror of fear,
He never fails, and He never quits.
He frees the broken, heals the hopeless
Love, the all-prevailing remedy that will fix:
A broken heart,
A broken life,
The endless strife,
And the family that constantly fights.
*
*
This love is not a normal, natural love
It is perfect in every way.
There is only One who can give it,
He is Christ, who has the power to save.
*
*
Love, is the One who casts out torment and abuse,
Replacing it with happiness and joy.
He brings peace to everything within
He is the omnipotent power that always wins.
He breaks through the struggle,
He breaks through the lies,
He forms a new creation,
That simply put, cannot be shaken.

Hey there Kat here to write a review for you (love your avatar)

I fell in love with your title so I had to read
Lots of seemingly unintentional rhymimg in here . the only thing I felt was a lil off was the middle stanza I felt like it broke the flow of your writing but I see why you needed to include it and that was very good on your part. Why isn't it a natural love? I don't et this part ...can't true natural love heal all things if it is pure? or did you mean only he can bring it?
The line about refreshing seems to be worded a little oddly consider revising that it seems off if you read it, refreshing doesn't fit there quite right. love the vocabulary, omnipotent . I also like how you depected love from the usual romantic view to what it truly is, a chance to begin again and the truth that heals everything and is all powerful, the only thig on this earth that can truly write the wrong and fix the broken.Very well said and I liked the over all Idea and the way you expressed yur feelings throughout Keep it up Kat
The reason it is not natural is because it is supernatural. True love is by very nature supernatural because only with knowing what Jesus did and how Jesus lived will we understand love. So that is why I write it is not natural and why it is so much more special than the natural love. I would say that true love, love that actually understands the word from a biblical mindset can very well heal the brokenhearted, though only through Jesus' sacrifice will we understand how to love like that. Thanks for the review I appreciate the advice!
Okay, can I just tell you how much I LOVE this?
I absolutely don't have anything to nitpick at.
I love the way you interpreted the Lord into this.
My most favorite part would have to be:
"This love is not a normal, natural love
It is perfect in every way.
There is only One who can give it,
He is Christ, who has the power to save."
I can't describe exactly how I feel about this.
It took my breath away!
^ that's the best I can do right now. xD
Anyways, I'll be looking more into your work.
Splendid job!
This is really nice, the way you have likened love and God!
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Messenger here to review for ya!
I was really happy to see another song up by you, because I hadn't seen any in a while it seemed like. So, review:
I thought it was interesting how you started at to describe love as a person. And then later to a thing.action. But I also feel like it felt weird transitioning between the two.
Now that was awesome because not only did you describe how perfect the love is, you described where it comes from .I think that stanza just is really well written, and very clearly written.
I really like the last stanza. You witched back to love being a he (Obviously meaning Jesus or God being the Perfect Love) and I think you should keep it that way the whole time. Which would mean revising a little of stanza number one. But that's your decision.
Your ending is abrupt. In a way it resolves everything, but in a way it leaves a lot open. Maybe you could write a final line to wrap it all up. Like, "This is love"
I don;t know, just an idea.
Keep it up and hope this helps!
