In my mind,
I feel free
To be me,
No stupidity,
No hatred,
Just me, myself, and I
As I find my own faults,
I become my own critic
*
*
Maybe I should let up,
Stop being so hard on myself,
Just go to bed, “Your lying to yourself!”
No critics, or so I thought
No stupidity, oh wait there is still me
Just me, myself, and I
Running thoughts through my mind

I love this! It's amazing, the way you capture being alone inside you own mind. The way you say 'No stupidity, oh wait there is still me' captures my attention so well! Keep writing!

I love this poem! I can guarantee many people can relate to this. Wether it is thinking you aren't pretty enough, or smart enough, or athletic enough, the message is clear. Love yourself as you are! I love poems with this message because they inspire me to stop caring about what other people think. I do agree with the reviewers below, it doesn't seem quite finished! Most grammar issues were fixed so no need for that! Thanks for *listening*...
Keep writing!

Thanks!
Poem is great
Hello Hsarver! Buzz here to review.
Well firstly I like the general concept and theme of your poem and its written in a clear and interesting manner.
However there is always room for improvement, so I have some suggestions and corrections to address to you.
"No stupidity,
No hatred,
Just me, myself, and I
Finding my own faults,
I become my own critic"
The, "No stupidity" part seems a bit off to me in the sense that, are you referring to there being stupidity in reality or....?
The "me, myself and I" part is okay but it's a bit cliche as its been used numerous times, you could describe your independent self in more creative ways. The last line here, "And I finding my own faults" doesn't make sense, you might have meant, "as I find my own faults" it fits better in my opinion.
I become my own critic" doesn't seem to fit the flow, it interrupts it, perhaps, "I'm my own critic. Some Imagery would have made this stanza in general, slightly more powerful.
"Maybe I should let up,
Stop being so hard on myself,
Just go to bed, “Your lying to yourself!”
No critics, or so I thought
No stupidity, oh wait there is still me
Just me, myself, and I
Running thoughts through my mind"
I liked this stanza because you began to create some imagery and somewhat of a connection to the reader.
Line 1, I think you meant "lighten up" as oppose to "let up" it makes more sense grammatically.
I liked the final line but I do think it's lacking in that ultimate ending that leaves the reader amazed in a way, but you're the poet, it's just my opinion.
Overall a good poem, I hope I was of help to you, Keep Writing!

Thanks for the review. This was a spur of the moment poem, so it isn't all that great. Although I will try to edit it, and then maybe bump it later.
Keep writing! I feel like that wasn't finished yet! I would like to here more from this poem. It sounds depressing, but still intriguing. I want to know how this turns out. Very good thoughts though, because I feel like at one point or another, everyone can relate to this same way of feeling. I know I can.

Anyways, good luck with your writing!
Yeah I felt I could increase on it as well, I might add another stanza we'll see. Thanks though!.
This poem is pretty great!! There's nothing wrong about it, no errors or anything like that so it is pretty perfect!! I liked your idea in this poem. I liked how you said
"Just me, myself, and I
Finding my own faults,
I become my own critic".
That's exactly how I feel sometimes. Well you did a pretty good job on this poem!! Keep writing!!!
Hello my friend! It's blimeylimey here to review!
Wow! What can I say besides: Superbolous (super/fabulous). I could say, "Told you it'd be great!" or I could say, "Told you I'd be the first to review!"
But that wouldn't really make a great review, huh...? Let me just say, grammatically, I saw no errors! Nice work!
As always, I loved the aspects of the poem! You're style of writing is perfect! I really enjoyed this poem! I look forward to reading more!
