Under warm amber skies,
we etched our love
into the bark of redwoods,
*
a heart
engraved with our initials.
"Always and forever."
A promise
beautiful,
exquisite,
and sweet.
*
Our love was untameable.
We knew no other way.
We had only each other.

AHH THIS IS SO FREAKING ADORBS( ∩´͈ ᐜ `͈∩)💕 i actually rlly like how simple/short it is, i feel like it plays right in2 the kinda young love ur going 4. like when u love some1 enough u dont need 2 prove it 2 every1 w/ a ton of words, yknow(・・?) and the ending too!!! i rllyrllurlly like how it can b read as both bittersweet or js sweet(lol) like being so absorbed in some1 theyre all u can see and assign any value defo ends up failing more times than not, but finding solace in some1 during a hard time as 2 where theyre all u have is more hopeful!!(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )
What is love? Baby, don't hurt me...

But anyway, you probably don't know me, I'm Eli, I was lurking in the green room when I found this and it looked interesting so I decided to review it. It's short but sweet. BUT since it is short, I don't have a TON to say about it, but I really like the feeling in it. It made me happy that I FINALLY found a poem about love that didn't end with the love ending, so I enjoy that. I like your use of adjectives.
Anyway I don't have much else to say so keep poet-ing
