You lie enough to fill the ocean
Full of all your deceit.
Your mouth moves and it is devoid of truth
Your arrogance will be your undoing.
*
*
You fuel your hatered with four letter words
Calling Jesus a myth and a fraud at best.
Attacking and mocking my faith, you laugh
Yet I will defend my Savior.
*
*
Just because you are louder than me
Doesn't mean you are correct.
God is love, so I will love you too
Hate me if you want.
*
*
Nothing you do will ever stop me
Through prayer I continue.
So give it all you got,
My God has my back.
*
*
My God is my friend, my comfort in trouble
I will not fear you or your words.
I lean on Him and His truth
And so should you.
*
*
The gospel is the good news to all men
Salvation through Jesus, Yeshua the King.
His death and resurrection is the way and Truth
Nothing else and no one else will ever do.

I really, really loved this. You did a beautiful job and I can only find good things to say about this poem.
This is so sweet. It tells us that you will forgive, because you are a follower of Christ.
I really appreciate it when people capitalize Him when speaking of God, and that's what you did. This was a superb piece of writing; keep it up!
Sunshine here to review...
Hey WindSailor! Let me just say that this was a really powerful poem right here. Lots of emotion and power in your words. My favorite line has to be this:
Just perfectly and amazingly put.
You really are an amazing poet, your poems literally ooze with emotion. Well done! God bless! ^_^ (btw I gave this poem to my religion teacher and she absolutely loves this.)
I really don't know how you do it but you put what every Christian thinks and feels and then word it so beautifully and powerfully in just a few short lines. Just amazing how you do that, I know I couldn't do that the way you do. Keep up the amazing work Chico.
Hello, I'm The Black Sheep and I just want to say that I love this poem. I want to commend you for honoring your faith and standing up for what you believe in. I know what it's like to be accused of believing in a false God and I know how much strength it takes to stand up for what you believe in. I love the title you've given this piece because it fits so well with what we all go through at some point.
The one line however "And so should you" I have to warn you may draw trouble in the future. While I choose to believe that the narrator is speaking to the person mocking his/her faith other people may take it as a Christian forcing his/her religion onto another person. Be careful and I caution you, though it's unfortunate that we live in a society where I need to caution you, to be careful and to not heed the words of critics. Well done.
Greetings WindSailor
Firstly I have to say that I love your title. It drew my attention immediately, and now that I have read the poem I think it works perfectly.
For a person as young as you to have such strong faith in God is amazing. And you display your devotion in this piece splendidly.
The free verse poem-style you use is satisfactory. A rhyme scheme wouldn't have ruined the piece, but a freestyle writing works better here.
There is nothing wrong with your grammar or vocabulary and for that I applaud you. This piece shows that you have a very mature way of writing which is very difficult to have at the age of 16. Bravo!
There isn't much more that I can say without sounding redundant, therefore I am rating this piece 9 out of ten. Congratulations!
Sincerely
The Wandering Wizard
P.S.-I will stand by your side till the end against against all who belittle Christ's image.
P.P.S.- I printed this poem and it is now proudly being displayed on my wall.
