Just so you know, the seasons are jumbled for a reason. This poem is about changing to fit in, and the indifference of being different. Trying too hard...The season's are the metaphor.
This Summer, I'll be cool when it's warm,
You'll be the ice-cream and I'll be the storm,
We won't go together, like a dessert with rain,
I refuse any logic, I breathe tempting pain.
The Winter will come, and I'll be long gone,
Treading some lonely coast, singing some other song,
I'll be switching and soaring, five times a week,
I'll hike through this war zone, with a blush stained cheek.
When Autumn falls, I'll fall with it,
Head over heels, 'til my heart goes split,
I'll make sorry ends, I'll have a rough start,
And in my sleeves I'll carry, a much damaged heart.
When Spring is brand new, and with me you cry,
I'll tell you straight out, our friendship won't die,
For I haven't changed, unlike your boyfriend,
I'm still the same me no matter how much I trend.
Next year, I promise, from my head to my toes,
I'll try not to show my emotions, on my clothes,
I cannot be me, when I try my best,
I change like the weather to fit in with the rest.
Nobody sees me for who I am,
They think that they know me, but they don't understand,
When the rain pours down, and frizzes my hair,
If a boy is nearby, I hope he don't stare.
I'll stare at me, through the rain's grounded mirror,
I see me, as nature's best quitter,
The rain will still fall, and I'll still see me,
Then the Winter will return, and my image will freeze.

I. Love. This.
I don't really know what else to say.
I think towards the end, where you say,
the "don't" could be replaced with "doesn't" without ruining the flow of things.
Bravo. Thanks for the awesome read.
