I am perfect and I am me,
This is how I'm meant to be,
Power, fame and money,
tearing the world apart,
The mirrors are lying and stealing all our hearts.
Take me from the all seeing eyes,
I will not be a part of it,
Society is falling thin and you can be sure the world allows it.
But, what the T.V will not tell you,
is the beauty of your back yard,
and that the lies which you believe,
Come from deep within the dark.
I warn you now to hear the cries
and stay out of media's lonely corner,
Quickly close your eyes,
And say 'No!' to the New World Order.

I liked the first stanza
I am perfect and I am me,
This is how I'm meant to be,
Power, fame and money,
tearing the world apart,
The mirrors are lying and stealing all our hearts.
It is dramatic, but still makes a point. Good job, keep it coming!1
Down with modernism! I like the way you think, and cannot agree more. I truly enjoy your use of slant rhyme, and the way your words flow. However, I have to point out that you don't keep the rhythm up. You begin with it, then in the middle you stop, then, near the end, you rhyme once more. For example,
Did you do that on purpose? If so, that last line will have to be touched up, shortened, I would suggest, to fit the rest of the lines. At any rate, bravo.(:
