The thoughts tumble in and out of my mind. What is going to happen? When will it be over? Will I ever be free?
Tammy’s evidence was flimsy, Ortega managed to make his
own. What will happen if I get said guilty? Is it even possible? Could I really
be blamed?
The sad truth is yes.
Maybe I can’t stay here, hoping for something better to come
along. I can’t keep wishing that things will change. I can’t keep listening to
the little voices inside me saying, “people change.”
People don’t change. Not for the better, not even for the worse.
The only thing that could change is a mindset, but the desire
will always be there.
He will always want to hurt me. And I will always be too weak to
fight back.

I can't wait to see what happens with the verdict, yet at the same time I'm nervous to find out. I'll say this for you- if anything, you're really good at making us care what happens to the character! hehe which at the moment could be good or bad- good for you, but bad for those of us who are now waiting on the edge of our seats for the verdict. >.< grrrr.........
