Questions That keeps ME up

E - Everyone

In Self

Why do the days feel heavy and long?
Why does the world seem to move me wrong?
Why do I try when nothing feels right?
Why do my dreams vanish each night?

What if I never find what I seek?
What if I’m strong, but always feel weak?
What if the spark they talk about
Isn’t in me, just fear and doubt?

Why do others seem to know their way?
While I wander, lost every day?
Is it me who's broken, or just the road?
Why does this heart carry so much load?

What if the noise is all there is?
What if the silence hides no bliss?
What if my purpose was never real?
Just a tale they tell to help us heal?

Why does time pass with nothing to show?
Why do I stay, yet long to go?
What if I'm meant to be no one at all—
Just a shadow stretched across a wall?

Will I always feel this far behind?
Is peace a place I'll ever find?
Why do I hope, and then feel small?
Is there a point to any of this at all?

Amazing. I love how well things portrays overthinking (What its most likely about). The constant never ending questions, not just about the world around you but also about you. kind of second guessing yourself and who you are. Thinking that you are lost or dysfunctional, thinking that you are broken. Wondering what the future has in store for you. Its raw and emotional, you can feel it through the screen.
"Is it me who's broken, or just the road?" asking if you're the one thats broken or if the direction you are on is broken. you will truly never know, but that's okay. Keep it up!

Thank you so much for reading

I.am.in.LOVEEE.

This is fantastic.

This seems to me like the words and thoughts of an extremely burnt out person, who questions the system and 'the way things are' because they don't see the worth of giving and losing so much and only getting to keep the pain.

This portrays uncertainty so well, because once even the ember of a doubt sparks, the wildfire is sure to follow. It creeps in like a poison, and it fells your beliefs of the world in precise strikes.

This poem starts with simple uncertainty and confusion, then self-doubt, then doubt in the system, and finally lets down in grief and resignation, because the person knows it can't change.

Amidst the uncertainty, there is a specific conviction, that the monotonous and toxic rush will never be enough, YOU will never be enough to stop having to not drown, not having to float but simply having land to rest on. You stop believing there IS land.

Frankly, I relate to this on a personal level, and that's why it feels so heartwarming to me. Lovely work <3333

Sure! Here's a simpler version:

Hey! I'm going to be real with you, I suck at reviewing, but we are going to go and do it anyways because I'm just like that.

This poem is really deep. It connects with the reader and it reminds people that authors are real human beings with real lives. It reminds me that other people have these same thoughts and feelings. That I'm not alone. I really don't have any negative commentaries to this piece, it rhymes well and is relatable. I love how you make it so there is a little bit of insecurity into it. Like, you start to wonder if life really will be as nice as everyone makes it sound. What will happen when you no longer have mom and dad there. All these questions floating around everyone's mind. Everyone thinking they are alone while so many others have these same thoughts and feelings.

This poem is pure gold. Good job.

I must say your name is really good and thank you so much for the positive comments

Heya! Hope here with a review!

Questions, and more questions.

Your rhyme scheme is good and your beat is pretty consistant.

The POV character does a good job of expressing their uncertaintiy. Or rather, potentially yourself based on the title.

There are as, promised, a bunch of questions, i also like how it is only questions, but still manages to feel as if it is making a statement. It really feels like something youd scream out while standing on a picturesqe cliff during a thunderstorm, only to unlock your true power.

God, these questions keep me up too. The poem is amazing, you can feel the emotions in each word and line and stanza. the part ,"What if the spark they talk about Isn't me, just fear and doubt" I really think that there's something that can make that part flow in with the rest of the poem. It just feels a little out of place. But poetry is always amazing!

Thank you so much for making ur time
