I have a few queries! I'd appreciate having them clarified.

Could you elaborate the 3rd challenge- what does a wall shoutout mean?

About 5th, does it count if all 5 or more chapters are published together? Also, if they're published separately, could I just review some chapter after the 5th or do I need to review all chapters 1-5 as well?

I noticed there's some error with the Green Room clearly as sorting out from the oldest works and scrolling from the newest all the way down give slightly different results. Which one shall be considered the oldest work then? Additionally, isn't the newest work relative? If by the time I review the latest work, another work gets published, will it still be eligible?

Review a work that you've given a wall-shoutout to
A wall shoutout means going to your wall and sharing a status update about a work you read, and tagging the author! Something like "I just started Partners in Fall by @AlexWrites and I'm loving it so far! Highly recommend!" Then you can go ahead and write a review for it.

Review a chapter beyond Chapter 5
If any part of the work includes a chapter that goes beyond Chapter 5, that's fair game! You don't need to read or review any other chapters from its novel for it to qualify.

The Green Room quirks
For finding the oldest works in the Green Room, you're absolutely right, you have to click "Load More" before the "true" oldest works will appear. After clicking that, the first work to appear would count for the actual oldest work. The list of works up until the next "Load More" button qualify for the first page of oldest works.

As for the newest work, don't worry, we won't be pedantic about checking precise timestamps! It's highly likely that a new work will come in as you're writing the review, and that's fine. It'll still qualify.

I didn't know wall shoutouts were even a thing! Those sound such a fun way to promote fellow writers. Def doing that!

And about the Green Room oldest, I do agree what with you're saying as well. But I'm afraid that wasn't what I was exactly saying. You see, if we sort the works by newest and then load all the way to the end, we still have some works sitting from Nov/ Dec 2024! In comparison, the second page of from the oldest has late Jan or early Feb as its oldest works. My heart really goes out to the poor writers waiting for almost a year for some genuine feedback, how sad!

@AlexWrites well shoot, the Green Room's sorting feature is more broken than I'd realized! I'd just use your best judgement, then. As long as we're giving some love to those very old works <3
