The Demoness

In Poems go here.

I could feel it creeping upon me,
Crawling up my flesh, twisting my nerves
all the way up, making my
mind go wicked and wrong.
I knew I had little time,
a few more seconds before
I finally would crumble and ruin.

She came so hushed and silent
walking on her toes. She wore the
grace of a goddess, disguising
herself to be one. Her gossamer
gown bore the darkness she
dwelled in, casting shadows of
who she really was.

She had the soul of many-
self-pity, loneliness, envy,
anguish, gloom and misery.
Each of her evil shadowy
essence take over you,
 take over you the instant
you lose Hope.

Hope kept mankind living,
giving him a heart to survive,
but she will get you anyway
creeping and  sneaking upon you
when you find yourself lost.

Wow.
Just, that's all I can say right now, this was just so, I can't say amazing, because, this was far better then that. I can't find any words at all.

I was so entranced by this from the first few lines, it just pulled me right in, and I loved it. It felt like I was pulled so far in, that I was actually in the poem.

I really loved how you started off, writing about the feelings this man/woman was having, then going onto describing the woman and how the other person saw her.

"She had the soul of many-
self-pity, loneliness, envy,
anguish, gloom and misery.
Each of her evil shadowy
essence take over you,
take over you the instant
you lose Hope."

This is what really got me, you just did so well at telling us what you were seeing, it was absolutely magnificent!

You did really well ending this poem, it finished with a bang, in my oppionin!

You did an amazingly wonderful job!
Good luck with you other poems!
