I don't want to share them

Don't want to tell anyone

that I cried at that silly plot;

that I longed for the romantic

parts to come into my life;

that I laughed- albeit evilly

when the enemy was winning;

that I loved, and lived

a different life in those hours.

Not because I feel ashamed

But because they wouldn't understand!

Hi anne27,

Great job! I really like how relatable this poem is! I definitely have moments watching movies where this is very accurate (mostly the laughing when the villain is winning).

I also think this poem could very easily apply to books as well. A lot of readers talk about the moment when you finish a story and have to re-adjust to reality, and I think this poem reflects that feeling as well.

Amazing work with this poem, and I can't wait to see what you write in the future!

Honestly I feel the same way about movies. No one will understand how I feel about the wondrous beauty that is known as films. I like how it seems like the narrator is ashamed, only for them to merely state that no one will understand.

I have a question: were the movies you mentioned different types of movies or the same one?

Movie making is a lovely art. Many enjoy it.

I wish you a nice day/night.

Thanks for dropping a review Vampricone! It was about the same movie- different aspects ;)
