Trees

In Poetry

This is what I called a scrambled poem, it's for Lyricalis

Trees grow tall. Their leaves fall in the fall. They stand and stretch. Their limbs attached to themselves.

Can they really think? Can they really think? I believe it would be beautiful, if they could really think.

Then maybe they would be among the wisest of the world, since they were here long before any of us.

If tree's could think, they could see too, and to see the world, then they have conquered all mysteries, since they would have seen all history.

They sway their green fingers, never do they put up a fight. They stay strong and love long. Never are they wrong.

Never are they wrong.

Hey Dream! A short review for this beautiful prose poetry!

First, I'd like to comment that this is a very beautiful piece. It places itself between the anxiety and curiosity of trying to find an answer, yet it is still told serenely and beautifully. Also, it is very hard to manipulate prose poetry like this, so I congratulate you for doing your best.

I personally like the first line. It's very descriptive of the tree, and that is why I like it. I can see it. But why no play with colors? I'd be happy to see some greens and browns. With it the image will be awesomely complete. The final line is a bit too simple though. Try to play with its words to make it more...well..decorated, okay? Next, the second to the last line is also misleading. The structure is a bit improper, and I can't get a steadier emotion and imagery from it. Reconstruction maybe?

Anyways, that's all I can say for now! Good luck rewriting!

Your pal,
Al

This captures such emotion i absolutely love this
it makes me wonder about all the things that you've portrayed and how it holds such imagination.
keep it up!
