In Poetry

Your lips, stretching, morphing, slowly transforming,

Your eyes, widening, brightening, slowly engaging,

Your nose, crinkling, turning, slowly captivating,

I love that smile.

Hey there writersdream!
First off, I liked the idea of this poem but was disappointed of the shortness of it. Short poems can be good but this would be really good if you added another 2 stanzas, maybe about the opposite of this then another one to say that you still love that.
Also, I agree with FireGirl, change brightening to something with 2 syllables so it fits with the other lines.

Every smile is one of a kind, yes you're.So now I'm convinced the one on my face is five of a kind.If i were you,i would have added the anta(opposite),to this poem,"I hate that smile".But,still beautiful in its way,One of a kind

Hello! A review! :D
Firstly, this is an awesome short poem, so if my review isn't great, it's mainly because:
A.) I'm not great at reviewing poetry
B.) It's short (which isn't bad)
Right! So, great poem, very well written and structured. You syllables are great, they all fit together very well. The one that doesn't work for me is the "brightening" as I think it's too long...? That line seems a tiny bit too long, but that's just my opinion.
The last line is great too, rounding it off and concluding the poem. I think this is an awesome poem, keep at it! :D

Thank you so much, I'm thinking over it!

Hey there thewritersdream! :)
I really like your short poem. :D
It's very short but surprisingly is quite intriguing. Through just a few words this poem can actually make one feel and imagine that smile and smile themselves.
It's like when reading each line, the image comes alive in the reader's mind vividly.
It's a great poem. :D Keep up the good job. :D
Keep writing,
~Gigi

Thank you so much!
