He was glass at the bottom of the sea,
smooth, churned by the waves, invisible.
He spoke poems no one could hear,
and sparkled where no one could see.

This is so cool! I don't feel the need to review because so many have reviewed, but I'll just say, 'tis good. ^.^
"He was glass at the bottom of the sea,//smooth, churned by the waves, invisible." The first two lines are hard to follow, and the second line: "smooth, churned by the waves, invisible." was hard to follow. The wording of the line made it hard to understand what you were trying to say. I would tweak the wording a bit, to help to clarify the meaning of the line. The phrasing of this poem in general could be tweaked as it is hard to understand what you are fully talking about through out the entire poem. "He spoke poems- no one could hear," would be a better way of writing line 3.
Some of the good. The poem utilizes the strong use of imagery and personification, even if the wording is difficult to follow. The imagery and personification helped me to vividly image what was going on in the short four lines.
Overall, the poem needs some work. I am not the best at writing poetry since I have only been writing poetry since August, but this is one I can see needs work.
Hi.
I really like this one.
It's beauty lies in it's sadness.
There is no one to hear the poems the glass is singing, and no one to see it sparkle, at the bottom of the ocean.
There is this moment in 'The Great Gatsby' by Fitzgerald, where the guy, Gatsby, dies, and no one other than the narrator comes to his funeral. The narrator tries and tries to bring people, calls them up personally, even goes out to bring them, but no one turns up. That moment is so sad, that it's beauty can not be explained.
The moment in your poem is quite similar.
Keep writing! I'm sure I'll be back to read your stuff often.
Me likey.
Hey there! Knight Onyx here to review after a long extended break. Ha- Alright, I love the sweet and simplicity of the poem. I like how you tell about the glass, though it is short. It gives me a good image of what you are saying throughout the four lines. Great job, keep on writing friend! Sorry this is so short! (っ◔◡◔)っ
Hai there! Alex here to review your short but sweet poem!
First off I am a little bit uncomfortable with the size of your poem, I feel like it needs to be expanded. However I like the metaphor use in this poem and I think it was very creative! Besides the size everything else is grammatically correct and I like this concept of the poem to!
If you want, ignore my advice, this is your work after all!
Alex out, beep.
Heyy Fortis!
First of all, The title was a bit catchy. Its short, tiny xD , crisp and the point was clear!
Even when its short I knew that there is a deep meaning in the poem.
I liked this line:
"He spoke poems no one could hear".
In total, its a good poem! I liked it ^^
SapphireFlames.
this work is nice, truely i wish it was longer than this.......short,simple,on point and wonderful.
your choice of words is perfect "and sparkled where no one could see".
truely they just teach a great lesson ... am impressed.
thumbs up!! will love more of this.
It is short, sweet, and to the point! I really love that you set such an emotion using only a few words. "He spoke poems no one could hear," is pure genius! I would love to read a longer poem written by you!
This was nice for being so short. Short and sweet, I must say. I feel there is some hidden message or hidden emotion behind this poem. I like that. I feel it gives the poem more mystery. Although I do prefer long poems. This was rather good. Keep up the good work and keep writing my friend!
