I don't think that true love exist's,
at least the version of true love thought up in my head.
To me true love is a mountain covered in snow rising up to the sky.
True love is the horizon that stretches far behind.
It is boundless and endless.
True love should last forever.
Should never be forgotten.
True love is dying a thousand deaths,
but being reborn a thousand and one times,
to search the world for the soul that completes mine.
To me there is only one person that can ever fit that mold,
True love is a love that will never grow old.
True love should be different, because you should just know.
When you find that person who completes you,
you will stay with them forever, because even when you leave,
you will always be pulled back.
True love is rare,
because out of seven billion people,
you will only find one,
and so your paths will be destined to cross,
in this life and another.
The fate is in the stars for you to be lovers.
To me true love will endure all,
from the fights and the problems,
to the long long fall.
True love probably doesn't exist,,
but that doesn't mean I should settle for anything less.

Hi! What a beautiful and heartfelt poem!

True love is indeed "boundless and endless" and your words perfectly captured this sentiment.
I'd like to especially congratulate you on your punctuation, to me it's one of the hardest challenges in poetry and I immediately felt like you knew exactly what you were doing with it. As a result the poem flows nicely.
Your verses sound sweet, soft but still meaningful and engrossing.
English is not my mother tongue, so please take the following note lightly:
"True love should last forever.
Should never be forgotten.
True love is dying a thousand deaths,
but being reborn a thousand and one times,
to search the world for the soul that completes mine."
So, I think that the second verse of this stanza sounds slightly off... that's probably only because of my personal taste but maybe some mild change could make it flow better.
"True love should last forever
and never should be forgotten"
does that sound better?? I think it's slightly more pleasant to the ear (you know, the sound play with the words forever and never). But again, that's only my personal taste.
Similarly "but being reborn a thousand and one times" breaks a little the general rhythm of the poem ("but always being reborn once more"??).
You probably didn't catch that you slipped an extra comma in the second to last verse.
Overall your writing is very good, thank you for gifting us with this read

Hello there, thanks for sharing the feelings.
But what feelings do I feel from this? There's the pang of regret about my opportunities with the true love, and what I'd give to achieve that boundlessness. Am I sad? Yes. Do I regret things? Yes. Do I beat myself up about it? No.
All things considered, love is love wherever it stems from and if both parties involved find it to be true, then that's all the better. There's all forms of love, from platonic to familial, it's not as rare as you think. And then there's that one kind that comes out of nowhere, one you haven't felt before and that's the rarity that you feel.
I don't like to say that I hardly get sentimental or feely over poetry, as a lover of art, it's just another form of provoking emotions inside us. As for this piece I did enjoy the latent memories brought back from the old days of love. I do agree that love is a wonderful thing, both common and rare. It's a concept that stands the tests of times, and stands strong in the face of adversity.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey brook, beautiful poem!

Poetry isn't my strong suit, so I won't attempt to critique or review this. However I really enjoyed it and it made me think, so I thought I'd leave a comment. If this poem really describes your opinion on true love, I think that's a beautiful belief to have. It might not exist and it might not be attainable, but I agree that none of us should settle for being with someone we don't love or stop searching for the right person.
Personally, I don't believe perfect love can exist between two people or that there is someone that you or I are destined to be with. I also think that there are many people in the world that you could potentially have a good, happy relationship with, as no two people are 100% compatible and every relationship needs sacrifice on both sides to make it work. But as a Christian, I do believe that perfect love exists in the one case of God's love for us.
Anyways, that's my two cents. Thank-you for sharing this poem. It appealed to my inner romantic idealist, and it made me think. Keep on writing!

Hello! Let me just say, I like this poem a lot. I especially like the imagery and the feeling I get when reading this. I often read poetry for the feelings I get while reading it, and this did provoke a feeling in me. A feeling of hope, of love, of... almost gladness. This is a very optimistic view on love, and I could feel that.
I'm not sure if I agree with the poem's message, but that is personal opinion. We are not here to talk about that. We are here to review your poem and offer suggestions, right? So, here goes:
In your first line, "I don't think that true love exist's," the word "exist's" should just be "exists." No apostrophe. Secondly, almost every line ends in a period. It doesn't have to be that way. Ever heard of enjambment? It's something you can use in poetry, where one line bleeds into the next, and the sentence continues. Maybe replace some of those periods with commas and semicolons, or just nothing at all. For example, in the lines "because out of seven billion people,/you will only find one," you could delete the comma after "people." You don't need it there, and the poem might have better flow.
There's really not much more I can say. While I don't necessarily agree with the message of the poem, I bet others will, and they will like it all the more. I enjoyed reading this, and I think others will too, for the message, the language and the feeling.
In hindsight, there probably are more errors in this poem that I can see. I'm not very good at spotting errors and mistakes and such. I'm just not that talented of an author. But from what I see, apart from my suggestions, this looks good.
