So there’s this book called House of Leaves, right?
And it’s a horror novel.
And it’s the opposite of PG.
And it’s got a lot of layers. Like, a LOT of layers.
It is, simply put, the retroactive book made from one guy’s transcription of and comments on an academic-style analytical essay about a documentary. That documentary being The Navidson Record, which may or may not exist.
Added onto this are not one but two appendices, neither of which I have viewed yet. And this is not to mention the cyphers and secrets the book’s author, Mark Z. Danielewski, has hidden within the text.

So, anyway, is this what hyperfixation feels like?

If you could have a single magic power what would it be? Time manipulation, hands down. Specifically being able to freeze time.
Travelling or homesick? A bit homesick. I miss my life before college sometimes. (Oh yeah, I'm in college. Crazy how we grow up, huh?)
If you were invited to attend Hogwarts, which Hogwarts House would you choose? Hufflepuff, because all the cool people are in Hufflepuff.

YWS favorite event? NaNoWriMo - I don't participate much, but it's awesome to see all the writing people do.

Your favorite fictional character created by you? Hm... I don't know. There's this one human-raised fairy named Robin who I like a lot, although their concept relies on worldbuilding I'm not sure I like as much anymore. Then there's this other character, I don't know her name yet - but she steals someone else's magic necklace and finds herself in another world. Said other world I am still developing - I need to figure out the history of beastkin, kinfolk, and witchlings, not to mention the other civilizations scattered across the globe - but it's easy and fun to conceptualize characters who live there, too.
