Frey
I hear Juno’s scream from across the Park. Something deep inside me shudders in panic, a searing pain rips through my chest, and for a moment, all I can think of is the sound of Juno’s pure, unadulterated terror.
There are stories about twins and multiples having telepathy or something, but that’s not a thing, at least not with us. Things like this, when we all feel Juno’s pain and fear, when we all feel some of Asteria's tipsiness, when we all (but especially me) feel my nervousness when I’m being bullied by the football team, those things are what happen to us. It’s what’s happening now, I think.
I don’t realize I’m running until I slip in the fountain water, and I don’t hear Adrian ask me what’s happening. I can’t seem to move fast enough, and the pain won't go away. I shove through people who crowd around her, I push people out of the way. I know I shouldn’t, but I have to, have to, absolutely have to get to my sister. I hear my voice, but it doesn't sound like my own voice.
“What did you do to her?” I hear myself growl at Ben. I don’t see Ben’s tortured face. I shake my head to clear it.
“Juno, what’s wrong?” I shout to her, even though she’s inches away.
“Frey, what’s happening to her?” Ben’s voice sounds more like a... a sob. Ben James the Boy With Two Names is crying. That unnerves me almost as much as Juno’s writhing on the ground.
“I don’t know, Ben,” I say, my hand somehow ending up on his shoulder. “But I do know how to snap her out of it,” I assure him. I stand up and get everyone to scatter, including the teachers and Ben. Now it’s just me and my sister, being watched from a few feet away by a wrecked Ben and a few nervous teachers.
“Juno,” I whisper, rubbing her shoulder the way I do when she gets upset. “Juno, hey, come back to me. It’s me, it’s Frey, no one is going to hurt you.”
Juno can’t seem to stop shuddering and I know it’s not from the cold. I know what I have to do will look and sound weird, but it has to be done. I turn Juno so she lays on her side and I lay beside her. I put one arm around her and rock her gently, still rubbing her shoulder. The shoulder-rubbing is how she knows it’s me in her state of panic. The therapist suggested something like that for when she has her attacks. Asteria plays with her hair, and Arinna just hugs her.
After a minute or two, Juno stops shuddering and the pain in my chest goes away. Juno has had these panic attacks before, when she suffers some very mild form of PTSD from The Incident– crap. Now everyone will know. Or at least Ben will, and that alone will kill Juno.
“Frey?” says the tiniest voice.
“Juno!” I nearly shout in her ear. I sit up and help Juno back onto the bench. She looks pale and her skin feels clammy, but other than that, Juno is back with us.
“Juno?” Ben approaches carefully, like he’s been flirting with a snake all night instead of with a human. I decide that this enrages me, but I also decide now is not the time to battle it out with a guy twice my size. Juno shrinks away from Ben’s touch, and the look on his face when she does is part of why I decide not to fight him.
Ben tries to touch her arm again and Juno shrinks away again. That kills Ben, I can see it for just a moment in his eyes, and then it’s gone, replaced with his mask of self-confidence.
“Juno, it’s me, it’s Ben,” he says, his voice begging. I pat Juno’s shoulder.
“It’s Ben, Juno,” I whisper. “He’s not going to hurt you. I promise.”
“I don’t want him to see me this way,” she whispers back.
“What’s she saying, Frey?” Ben pleads. I’m stuck now.
“She says she’s a little tired and wants some space,” I say, trying to sound gentle. Ben backs away a step or two, taking the blow of the words.
“He’s the one who did this to me,” Juno whispers. I can feel the blood in my face drain away.
“What did you do to her?” I’m growling again. Ben’s eyes grow into saucers.
“I-I just leaned in t-to kiss her and–”
“It’s fine,” Juno suddenly says. “I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?” asks Ben, coming closer again. Juno jerks away from his touch.
“Don’t touch me,” she pleads. She buries her head in my shoulder. Ben is completely at a loss.
“I’ll stay with her,” I say. My tone implies, And you should go.
“Okay,” Ben concedes, understanding. He walks away, but not without looking back. I wish Juno could see the way he looks at her.
“I’ll have to tell him now,” Juno says. Little tears run from her dead eyes, but I don’t wipe them away. Juno likes to do it herself.
“You don’t owe him anything,” I remind her. That’s a phrase often used in our house, like a family inside joke. Juno smiles a little. “You don’t have to tell him anything until you’re ready,” I say.
“Maybe I am ready, Frey,” Juno ponders. I can’t help but raise my eyebrows at that.
“Already?”
“I really like him.”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean you have to go trading your deepest darkest secrets. I mean, you’ve known the guy– I mean, really known the guy– for a week. I think you should wait a little while longer.”
“The longer I wait, the more it’ll hurt when he decides he prefers Asteria after all,” Juno says miserably.
Well, she does have a point there, I think to myself. I can’t tell her that though.
“If he does choose Asteria– which he won’t,” I say, choosing my words like fine chocolate, “then that’s his loss, sister. He’s the one who’d be missing out on something great.” Juno grins and I hug her carefully. Hugging a blind person is hard.
We sit there for a while, and then Adrian joins us and we talk about nothing until it’s time to go. Ben walks up to take Juno back to the bus. I really believe she’s forgiven him for whatever happened, because she hugs him as best she can and says something into his shoulder, and he laughs.
Adrian sits very close to me on the bus which is grand and I tell him I feel bad for ditching him.
“You were just being a good brother,” he says. “You’re better than I am, anyway. I totally blew off Asteria earlier.”
“She doesn’t care,” I say and I’m right. Adrian shrugs.
“Still. You’re a better guy than I am,” he insists. I flip my nonexistent hair sassily.
“I know,” I say and Adrian laughs his amazing, heart-stopping laugh and, finally, I’m at peace.

Hello!
Here are a few minor things I suggest you change:
but that’s not a thing,- I don't know why, but how you use the word "thing" doesn't really fit, so maybe you could try replacing that phrase with "but that doesn't exist".
First you write:
those things are what happen to us. It’s what’s happening now, I think.
And then:
and I don’t hear Adrian ask me what’s happening.
I would replace happening with a synonym (such as occurring) in this second portion because it sounds a bit repetitive.
I shove through people who crowd around her, I push people out of the way.- a suggestion on how to rephrase this could be "I shove through the people crowding around her, pushing them out of the way."
I hear my voice, but it doesn't sound like my own voice.- I would take out that second "voice".
Overall, I think this is very good! You might want to watch out for repetitiveness because I saw that a lot throughout this piece. I would also add more detail about the environment and surroundings, too. I can't really picture what is happening that well.
You have a good rhythm and you make dialogue flow really well. Keep up the good work!
Hi there!

Oh, poor Juno! Everything sprouted from some simple gesture Ben made, one that's supposed to signify love. And this is how it all turns out. I feel terrible for her.
The one thing I noticed is that there is a lot of dialogue in this chapter. Now, since this is so far into your novel, it's not such a big deal. However, I still think it's a bit too much. Why not really dive into Frey's head here? He seems really bent on Juno not telling Ben about how she went blind. Why is that? You have a great opportunity to expand on his feelings and thoughts here. Use it
One last thing before I go (man these reviews get shorter and shorter each time :/). I am impressed by how vulnerable you made Ben in this chapter. From the first time I met him, I thought of him as this boy who would never, ever, under any circumstance, break down like he does in this chapter. But here I am, seeing him emotionally break because of Juno's episode. This really shows his true feelings for Juno. It was nice to see him getting so nervous about asking Asteria if Juno was coming to the lock-in, but that was when Juno wasn't there. In this chapter, he's visibly upset over something he did that was directly involved with Juno. If that doesn't show his true feelings, I don't know what will.
I'm looking forward to reading the next chapters! I'll hopefully get to them in the next few days
Keep writing!

Alrighht-y!!!!
I'm here to drop some comments hon!!!
The previous chapter had me all lost as to what would happen next. And I must say that it was nice to give this chapter a Frey POV. Among the three I like Juno the best ( no offense to Freyr or Asteria...Their Pov's are awesome sometimes too)...
So When are you going to update?
Man I wish I started reading this after it was complete....
Damn....
Sorry boo!
I'm probably not going to update until the day after tomorrow or so. I'm at a bit of a block in life so I'm juggling a few things. I'll get right on it ASAP but I'll need some patience XD Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Hey! IamTraunt here to review!
I'm early for once! xD
Nitpicks!
You need a semi colon after 'her' instead of a comma.
This should be 'so she lies'.
'Shoulder rubbing' does not need a hyphen in between it.
I don't think 'and' needs to be capitalized, but its just a thought.
I think you need to sandwich this sentence together here: 'on the bus[,]which is grand[,] and I tell'. If you get what you mean xD
Characters!
Aw. Aw. Awwwww! This is so sweet, Your Highness. It was beautiful (if that's the right word). I love how you've developed relationships - especially between Juno and Frey. Is it just me or is it just so nice to see such a close bond between triplets? It does make my heart throb a little because it is clear that Frey and Juno are much closer than Frey and Aestria or Juno and Aestria. Which in a sense is sad and it does develop sympathy for Aestria whereas it builds up a liking for Juno and Frey's relationship. I like how you mention the bond between them when something is wrong (or when they have certain feeling; like nervousness) it just shows what a special relationship triplets can have when being together a lot.
I've got a different 'aw' in mind though. A sad 'aw'. Yeah, you've guessed right - for Ben. The way you describe him shows that not all popular people are selfish or users or just y'know... mean. Its nice because that odd time you do find someone that plays two people - their self and someone else - as we know how hard it is to fit in and seem oh-so-cool. Ben TBWTN's is cool - but he's also a very, very nice person who just wants to get to know Juno and not exploit her because she's beautiful. I like that.
Storyline!
My heart was pumping a mile a minute when I was reading this - it was... I can't describe how on edge I was. I was panicking for Frey. I know, right? I'm such a weirdo. But you really go into depth of how distressing it must have been for him as he loves his sister a lot and you can see that. He obviously wants her to happy and healthy - not screaming and have some form of a panic attack. It must have been horrendous. I wouldn't have wanted to watch it - never mind be having one. When I hyperventilated once it was horrific and that must have been a small percentage of what Juno was going through. Brrrr. It sends shivers down my spine. I feel really sorry for Ben - he doesn't have a clue what he did wrong and he obviously feels the weight of the situation resting on his shoulders. Maybe even if he seem fine towards the end he's still feeling that awful dread inside of him that if he tried to kiss her again it would not go down well. I really want to find out how Juno became blind! G'agh! Seriously!? I have to wait!
See you soon
Thanks Traunt!!
This was the easiest thing in the world to write because something similar has actually happened to me and my siblings!
Sometimes when one of my siblings (even though we're not twins or multiples) is in some kind of trouble, I get this horrible knot in my stomach. My brother once texted me, "I have a bad feeling in my stomach. Are you okay?" I was nervous about going downtown for the first time alone. It's an interesting bond and I'm glad I could portray that correctly.
I'll get right on to correcting those nitpicks!
And Ben... Ben does know what he did wrong because he tells Frey he tried to kiss her... He just wasn't expecting that reaction.
Thank you so much for your review!
Btw I love your avatars! And your welcome
That's cool - my sister is eleven years younger than me and can't properly portray her feelings just yet do I don'texperience anything like that. I'd love to though.
See you soon
Hey there your Highness
Just felt the need to drop that off... and Frey definitely is the best
Nice avatar change
This was one of your awesome chapters again. Although I felt like we didn't get much from Asteria's last lock in chapter, you've raised the bar back to your usual standard again. I loved it. I feel like it's good you've mentioned the panic attacks. I actually am seriously impressed with the amount of serious problems you are dealing with in a novel, without it being too heavy on the heart as well as still having a lot of a story-type of element in it too. So keep up the awesome work there, and keep making this story and these characters amazing.
Ooh, I know I am not asking for this to be put into this chapter specifically, but it was worth pointing out that this could be something interesting. I mean, the football team are the people who bully Frey because they believe he is gay right? Well, Adrian is part of the football team? So why is he so eager to come out to school? Isn't he worried that the football team will go on harder at Frey, and possibly turn him out of the team or something as well. On top of this, I am curious to know what Frey thinks of being bullied by people who seem to be Adrian's good friends... this seems like an element worthy of having its own chapter in the future.
I just felt like the ending on here was a little bit awkward. Maybe cut it off, seeing as it doesn't really add anything due to the beginning part of the sentence basically showing the same thing. Or change it to something like 'I push people out of the way,' perhaps.
I would change the middle bit to 'but it sounds so inhuman that I wonder for a moment:' etc. Also, why is he wondering about gorilla's at such a random time? It seemed completely out of place and well, not really worth anything to the chapter. I suggest you cut it out, or change it to something more worthwhile. ^^
Typo! I believe you mean 'does' instead 'doesn't.'
I wonder why Juno has never had an attack at school before? Is it just by chance, or does her attacks need to be trigged by something, something like Ben trying to kiss her? (asdfghjkl BEN TRIED TO KISS HER) If it's just down to chance, maybe mention that somewhere along the lines in Frey's thoughts..
What, why? It just seemed a bit randomly thrown in there. A bit more explanation there would be appreciated, especially for those who have never hugged a blind person before. Does it have anything to do with the fact that they don't know where their arms are going, or where the actual person is?
Other than a few minor points, this chapter was superb as usual. I love reading this <3 Please, keep me updated and hurry up with the next post!
Deanie x
Thanks Deanie! I fixed all your suggestions. You're right, the gorilla thing was something I put in to keep my own mood light while I write something serious. I meant to edit it out later and forgot!

Yes her attacks are triggered by something that has to do with The Incident. More to come.
The Adrian-football-team-bullying-thing will come up later too.
In the previous chapter, Juno described hugging Ben, and Frey was just echoing her difficulty from the last chapter. I can add an explanation in there a little later.
Thanks so much Deanie! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Your reviews never fail to make me smile
