Three roads in front of me lay,
Each one took to their real way.
It was hard to choose; Believe me,
Darkness and ghosts haunted you see.
It was ages till I could choose,
And to do this something I had to loose.
For curiosity I couldn't hold,
And to pass this I needed to be bold.
At last, something so mushy spoke,
More of a voice that sounded broke.
"Choose me, for I am humble"
The second road said in a mumble.
''I'll take you beyond your dreams"
The third road said this, it seems.
It was hard to choose; Believe me,
I was stuck between the two, the three.
So something made me take the first,
Though this way I might die due to thirst.
I think the third I should have chose,
For the road so proud fully boast.
Should I have taken the second one?
I wouldn't have been stuck here with the bones.
For this seemed so daring, so calling,
And everyone for this would be falling.
The second seemed so humble, so true,
Like the gratifying sky filled with blue.
The right path this was,
But we found it too hard to accept.
The third would turn you greedy,
Lost in the worldly gains and pleasure.
Mocking everyone who came your way,
'It's mine, move away'' you'd say.
The first dragged everyone to it,
As the wrong-doings it lit.
So everyone would not go for the truth,
The old , the child and the youth.
The second seemed so humble, so true,
Like the pleasing sky filled with blue.
The right path this was,
But we found it too hard to accept.

This is a good poem, though a little confusing at times.
In the second stanza, "loose" should be "lose", I think. And I don't think "broke" is a word, at least not in that context. In the last line of the second-to-last stanza, you have an extra space before the comma after "old", that shouldn't be there. "Proud fully" should probably be one word. In the fourth stanza, "Believe" shouldn't be capitalized.Third stanza, "Last" shouldn't be capitalized. In the first stanza, the last line is a little confusing. Maybe something like "Darkened and haunted, you see" would work a little better.
Don't know if that made any sense, I'm a little tired right now. Sorry to be so critical. It really is a good poem.
Nah Its okay. Thanks For THe SUggestions.
The title of this poem had me thinking of Frost's poem, 'The Road not Taken,' except two, not three. I liked the structure and rhythm of this poem, but there were moments when it seemed overly contrived. I wasn't sure if your diction was for imagery's sake, or to keep up the rhyming pattern you established. For example, in stanza 2, 'Choose' and 'Loose'. The correct grammatical choice would have been 'lose,' not loose; in stanza 3, 'broken,' not 'broke'; in stanza 5, 'Chosen,' not 'Chose'. But, of course, that would have changed the rhyming cadence of these stanzas.
And then there was an abrupt shift from one person to multiple perspectives in stanza 7, which detracted from the intimacy of thought evoked by the narrative thus far. You may want to consider keeping to either one or the other.
Thank you.
Thanks.
The beginning really caught my attention, as it reminded me of The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. So right off the bat, you were on a great note. The steady rhythm and rhyme that seemed to back the entirety of the poem gave it strength, and it seemed as if the piece would break apart without it, and that's not always a bad thing. Some poetry relies strongly on rhyme, and that is simply the genre. One thing that I found very unique was the use of quotes, and how confident you were in using them in this type of poem. I personally have never used speech in a poem of this sort, but you used it well and it actually added to the effect of it. There were a few minor flaws in the piece, however, including the varying point of views. In the beginning, it seemed as if there was only one protagonist, but by the end it was as if there was a group of people, but I didn't notice this until my 2nd time reading. The ending was also a bit odd, and it contradicted the mood of the poem just a little bit. I sort of expected it to be an issue deciding which road to travel, but it sort of killed the tone towards the end. All in all, the piece held my attention and kept me reading, captured me and taught a lesson, although a unique one. Keep up the good work!
Haha dont worry bout him i loved it congrats
Copy Paste? Lol

Thanks Anwyas.
