I'm covered in poison ivy,
It's really not much fun,
So I'm writing this to advise you
Not to do as I have done.
Don't play the "Touch Every Plant Game,"
Don't leave the paths in the woods,
Don't touch any plants with leaves of three,
They're almost never good.
If you follow this simple advice,
And are careful as can be,
I trust you'll never experience
This itch that's plaguing me!

Usually I'm great at finding flaws with anything and everything but I couldn't find any gripes with your poem. It was simple, well-paced and cute. I really liked it.
Hey, just here to write a short review for your cute little poem :3
I really enjoyed it. I found the rhyme was simple and not forced at all (which is very good). It seemed to have a simple sort of quirky childish feel to it which I love. I might have wanted to to have more imagery for be a bit longer. But that's just my preference.
Also I noticed a small error with your punctuation (You don't have to listen to me because poems don't really need punctuation, but still I think it helps the poem a lot).
Here's me correcting your grammar:
I'm covered in poison ivy,
it's really not much fun.
So I'm writing this to advise you
to not do as I have done. (I think switching the 'not' and the 'to' around makes it sound better)

Anyway I hope my review was helpful
Have a wonderful day

Hi @herbgirl, @Kayley01 here for review! I liked your poem. It was funny and unique. The title dragged me in. I thought it would be about something itching at your heart, something tearing you up inside, if you get me. This poem did make me laugh a bit, I'll be the first to admit that! I really like the flow of the poem also. This is really easy to read it sounds like all the words just fit together! Anyways you should definitely keep writing! Try using longer words in your next poem though! It sounded a bit like the words used didn't have much effort put into them.
Good luck with your future writing!
@Kayley01.
Hello, I'm Harley, Here for a review!
First of all, this was so strange and quirky! I seriously enjoyed it! Haha. I'm not a big fan of poetry and the recent ones I've read have been so deep and meaningful, it was quite fun to read something so simplistic and unique in it's own right. I found myself laughing by the second or third line, it was funny (for some reason) how the different rhymes linked. This is definitely something for younger readers, but it was very refreshing.
I don't have any fault with this at all, I felt that your structure was on point and your grammar appears good too! However, I think maybe you could have written another verse, but for the standards of younger readers I think it was fine.
Good Luck and Keep Writing!~
- Harley
