One More Step to Madness

In Random Things to See

I'm sure you had a smirk on your face
when you pushed her down the well.
What a show, what a disgrace,
even I cannot foretell.

I loved it, I hate it,
I don't know what to say.
You were quite the dimwit
when you chose her to betray.

Your sister, you killed her,
have you gotten mad?
Would you go for murder
when everything's gone bad?

I came here, you know why,
because she was my wife.
How dare you make her cry
and make her live a horrid life.

You scoundrell, you witch,
you lying little bitch.
Curse your wicked bloodline
you evil daughter of malign.

Ah, so personal. I like it!

" You scoundrell, you witch,
you lying little bitch.
Curse your wicked bloodline
you evil daughter of malign."

This one was the best. Every little word seems embedded with hate and venom. I don't know if I got the message of these lyrics, but I sure as hell got the tone, so you can pat yourself on the back for this.

Oh, and ignore the criticism like "rhyme pattern is a little bit incomplete". It's poetry, not rocket science. Nothing is set in stone and everything is free, as per the writer's own liking.

That was a very sadistic poem. And hateful, and vindictive, and shocking. I like how the narrator sounds very accusing and angry. You nailed that. Although, the ryhme pattern is a little bit incomplete. I think you oughtta play around with it a little.

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn't feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.
