I have blisters on
my aching feet from dancing
with the ghost of you.

I feel like you're here
though deep down I know you're not
but I keep dancing

This has the potential to be good. In fact, it is good. And maybe it's just me, but it seems so straightforward. I suggest getting a thesaurus. But I love the concept. It's brilliant and it's even something that I can relate to.

Oh, I really like this! It gave me chills and I can imagine it very clearly. The first line was very, very good, but I feel like the second line could do with some improvement. Most minimally, since you have a period at the end of the first verse, I think you should either add a period to the second verse or remove the first one, just for continuity.
Also, the second verse doesn't feel like an ending verse. It isn't as strong and visceral as the first verse, and it feels more like an introduction to a third and final verse. I would suggest writing a more climactic third verse, or tweaking the second one so that it feels more urgent.
Thanks so much for writing, great job!

I really like the concept you've introduced in this poem. It's unique and I think that is what sparked my interest. :) The title suited the poem quite well and the format of the poem itself is good. The emotions portrayed were well done and I only wish there was more to read. It's a great start and I look forward to reading more of your work. :) Good luck in all you endeavor to do and I hope you have a great Christmas holiday!!

Hey there, again :D

The first paragraph is great.
The second needs some tiny twitches.

I feel like you're here ,
though deep down I know you're not -
but I keep dancing .

-Maybe something like that, although I'm not so sure of my grammar either. I'm quite certain you need some punctuation in there, just something to connect the phrases.

Hope that helped, I can see you have the makings of a good poet.
I hope to see you write more.

Hello Buzz here to review!

"I have blisters on

I'm don't know a whole lot about haiku's but I'm sure that I really liked this one. I liked the general concept and idea of this it was interesting, had a slight sadness also a mystery. However I have some suggestions to make that may help improve your poem.

I like the first stanza, it was intriguing though I felt the last line read a bit off rhythm. Instead of, "the ghost of you" I'd suggest simply stating, "your ghost".

The second stanza on one hand was good but it could still use some improvement. I felt it was kind of to the point..it lacked a certain emotion it could potentially have in my opinion...we already know the person is not there, hence being a ghost as mentioned. Perhaps try hinting that they're not actually in a way that's less direct and more poetic.

Overall a great poem/haiku Hope I was of help to you.

-Buzz

Thanks for your input:)
The reason I used "with the ghost of you" is because of the rules of haikus. Haikus are always 5syllables-7syllables-5syllables. Changing it to "with your ghost" would throw this rhyme scheme way off.

Why hello there! AlexSushiDog here to review your haiku! (Wow imagine that in a Russian accent :D)
First off I would like to say that I like the concept of a person seeming to never let go off a dead friend, I also like how you portray this in the term of "dancing".
My only nit pick with this is that I feel like that you need commas at the end of necessary lines and capital letters at the start of each line. This is true with most poems but I'm not sure what the rules of haikus are.
I also feel like the last line seems a bit cut off, like there should be another 2 "dancing's.
Overall, I liked this haiku :D
Have a nice day!
