Beautiful Dream

by Angels-Symphony

I've always wanted to know
my one true love.
That person
who will change my life.

Two hearts that beat,
two hearts that meet,
the relationship
with unspeakable power.

But not everyone lives
to find their perfect match,
the one who is the meaning
of their life.

Some may believe
they've found it,
but may find themselves
soon heartbroken.

There are others
who deny its existence,
and those who've been
exposed to its magic.

The power of love
is something we all know of,
but where to find it
and how to get it
is still a mystery.

Some hunt for it,
others long for it needlessly,
but many get lost
in their beautiful dream.

Hi Angels! I am new to this site, but I will try to make my review as helpful as possible

The first three stanzas in this poem were beautiful and flowing, and I loved that! Although, stanza one is a tad bit off. It seems different than the rest of the poem because you are talking about yourself, and then you go on to talk about something else. So, whats the poem about? You? or lovers everywhere? Try not to be so vague, please.

The fourth stanza seemed like you were stretching your point. Don't draw it out so it seems like you are forcing yourself to write more. Let it come naturally. If you don't feel like writing anymore, then for heaven's sake, don't write.

I adored the final stanza! It had such magic to it! I loved how you added your title in the very end! Lovely!

All in all, wonderful poem! I thought it was very sincere. Just remember the little bit I told you about in the middle.

<3 Bug.
